For those who haven't noticed, when you get kicked from any board, it automatically adds itself to the bottom of all your boards, but what happens..

    Board name
    stays the same..
Follower count also stays the same..
    Description also stays the same..
You're made owner of the board..
All pins are removed but yours..

Now, this isn't the original board.. It's as though you've created a brand new board where you're the owner, but in reality the best thing from this is that you still keep all the followers that were on the original board..

If you can't seem to understand what I am saying then here..

You asked the owner of a board to be invited to contribute, he then invites you.. after he's had it with you spamming his board with your shitty, horrible quality pins..(sense of humor), he then blocks and kicks you from the board..

You start to think.. "Oh no, that was my major source of traffic" you start panicking, sweating, hitting your head on the wall and trying to get back into the board but you can't.. next class of though is "What do I do now"..

    Simply the following:

    1. Go to your profile: http://www.pinterest.com/YourAccountName/
    2. All the way at the bottom look for the board that you were kicked from..
    3. Change all the information on it.., name and description..
    4. Start inviting people to contribute so that it can grow..
    5. Be happy..

    Reason for this thread:

Thing is, I'm posting this because I've gotten kicked from board groups with over 30k followers, and without noticing anything I always deleted the boards as I didn't have any use for boards that had no followers but never noticed that the followers were still on there, even though I was now the owner.. a few days ago I noticed I got kicked from two boards.. with around 15k followers each, but now I am owner of two bigger boards which allows me to get more and more traffic and more followers :D

I hope this helps someone in the future, hope you enjoyed my sense of humor and that... this better be a sticky ;)

First of all, the link at the top was just a joke.. who would name their account "RepinMyShittyPins" -_-
Secondly, this is just a backup.. I'm not saying go and spam the boards.. just in CASE you do get kicked at any given time, from any given board.

Sir, I am still not able to digest all that info. Can you explain it once more in layman terms. Once I get kicked from a group board, I can never find the board in my profile, (say http://www.pinterest.com/YourAccountName/). So where are you seeing the board and become its owner. Sorry noob here.

ok great if that works but if it does its a glitch that they will fix soon but secondly your forgetting how quickly pinterest will ban your account for getting kicked out of group boards. all it takes is a little spam and a few complaints from members and pinterest is 90% 10% marketers and sorry ladies but you are much faster to complain about stuff like this. I find group board posting nothing more than a danger to your account. i delete all invites

You're no noob, I've seen your Pinterest Journey ;)

The board that you get kicked from will always be at the end of the board list in your profile.

There is no need, every board has the information that you need to know to be invited into the group, whether it's sending the board owner an email or asking to be invited on any pin that he/she has posted(look for the most recent).

If this is a glitch then it has been happening for the last two years that I've been on pinterest, If they find a reason to "patch it up" it's only going to be because of this thread.

Also, I've gotten kicked and banned from countless boards, I've spammed them to death and my main account has been up without any problems whatsoever.. If you make your profile look realistic and professional then you won't have any problem with spam.. especially when your account has a big follower list, think of it this way.. the bigger the profile, the more pins you'll upload, repin, like's, etc.

I think its some kind of glitch. I never got this on my main account, but I remember this happened on a dummy account of mine 2 weeks back.

Possibly, but it hasn't been fixed in the last two years, so make use of it while it's up.

Use your own accounts to test removing each other. Having been kicked out of some group boards and also kicking others off my boards, I can say that it depends on whether they remove or remove+block.

Never seen the followers get retained after block either, but could be wrong.

I wish I had looked more closely after getting kicked from boards coz I just deleted the newly-formed ones. Good for future reference.

This must be a joke or some kind of. When You are kicked from the board it appears at the bottom of the page, that's confimed.
For 15k board I have got kicked I see now there are 766 followers according to numbers Pinterest displays to me which are my actual followers count.
How can I keep all the followers from the original board? Please explain as I am trying to figure out what did you meant by this thread.
    Thanks.
