I'm from India and travelled a bit and used all kinds of wireless dongles.

The best one is MTS Blaze and next one is tata Photon.

Others are useless if you need speed.

@Pofigy: You won't get a unlimited plan in India. Even after they say unlimited it is limited till 5GB or 10GB and after that your speed will be reduced to 256kbps.

Can't do anything, it works like this in India due to huge number of scams.

No matter what connection you take there will always be a problem, In some areas you may get 4MBPs and in some areas you might get 256kbps. Depends upon signal strength.

It's because army uses the higher bandwidth and common people get less bandwidth for high prices...
also 3g network sucks in India...
My Idea network is good when I use it as 2g but when I use both 2g and 3g, I get like 5-10 notification per hour like this much amount of data is used bla bla!!

For leased line you have to pay $450-500 per month for a 4MBPS connection. And also there is lot of paperwork involved to obtain a leased line. In my office i have 2 leased lines 1 from Tata and another from Airtel(both these companies charges the same)
