    Hello Everyone,

Anyone have an idea about which way is better to make money from Travel Niche site? Affiliate or Adsense? I will be happy to know about your experiences with Expedia, Booking or HotelsCombined too.

    thanks.

I have never had a site in travel niche myself but everyone that I know who has a travel related website goes with affiliate marketing.

Affiliate. Expedia/Ebookers, alot of travel agencies have programs running though, but go for affiliate. Booking.com has retarted tracking and very low commissions.

I would do both. Adsense and many travel agencies have many great programs.

Adsense revenues are dropping as time goes on. I would go for affiliate and also make sure you're collecting emails and monetizing that way as well! Good luck :)

Affiliates in the travel niches pay out a good bit... but its hard to rank. If you can get targeted traffic there, you'll be rollin in the dough.

Why couldn't you just do both? Sorry, I'm starting out/in the process of gathering some general info but my idea so far would be to build a site, put adsense on with the possibility for users to book through an affiliate link.
Why would we be considering to go with one only?
    Sorry again for noob question...

Was pretty much going to post the same thing, Larz.

Build a list, build value to your site and get a genuine audience. THEN decide on monetization. Affiliate marketing is probably more viable long term because as Larz said, Adsense has taken a nose dive over the years. Very few people make "huge" earnings from it.
