I find a lot of music is sad, like trance.fm is mostly sad. When speaking of trance, I love some of the good old classics but other than that most of it seems sad.

Anyone else feels this way? I dunno I just don't like listening to sad music, it's demotivating.

I'm trying to find something to listen to, something that won't be monotone.

If we're talking about classics you should try some classic House and Garage. Way groovier.

No apples here, and not really a fan of old skool House/Garage.

I dunno I can't seem to find anything to stick to.

I personally enjoy House music. Especially the ones with some good vocals.

Trance is so 2004. It's all about house and the 100 sub genres now.

I do like house/electro house, it's just that atm I can't seem to find anything that I'd be able to listen to without having to spend a few days on creating a playlist myself.

    iTunes --> Radio --> Electronica

    Minimal ads, pretty good quality.

I'm not sure what you mean about sad trance though... I hardly find any of it to be sad.

When I write articles I pop on a station and bang the words out.

I really think trance/house music is supposed to make you feel happy. That's why they make all those big ass party's.

That's one of the biggest party's in Europe.

Don't really use iTunes but will check it out. Maybe not sad, I'm not sure how to explain it, sometimes it seems so monotone and it gives this emotional feeling of not emptiness but maybe loneliness. I'm not really sure how to explain it. It somewhat feels like music of the past, I'm not really sure how to describe it.

I find listening to good house music really motivating, when ever I work I have to switch on MusicPowerHouse.co.uk it's good soulful house music, very uplifting with vocals. Pretty much no adverts at all, just the odd one for a clubnight somewhere every 2 hours :)

That looks epic. I'm not sure when it comes to psychedelic music though. However I would love to one day visit such a party. :D

I like Trance and and Harder styles like Hardcore and hardstyle also pychedelic trance. I don't think trance is sad. It your own though that make you think its sad, maybe you are sad in general, maybe other people feel the tracks chilling or elevating depending how they are feeling in their current situations. There are some awesome tracks which always make me feel really empty and anxious about something which im not aware of. for example

Don't know what the hell it is, few times i have just had to pause and go to listen something else.Though i really love the timeless feeling of the track

Astix's scientific realy is great tack. The video is also fucking great, check out the guys with horse maks around 2 min or so :D

hahahaha if you think House music is new, the 80s-90s would like to have a word with you, and then the 70s would like to teach you what Disco actually was like. The maturing youth of today(15-21) are simply precious thinking the world was created upon their birth.

If you think trance music is sad, congratulations, you're sober.

If a sound makes you sad, take note of that, because it's a a physical reaction you're having. Sounds are dangerous in that they can have real world effects in real ways.
