Me and my partners have always relied more on offline-legacy advertising to promote our products.

We prioritize chasing sales and not traffic.
But there's some overlap because :

Zero traffic = Zero Sales
Zero Sales = Junk Traffic

For almost 2 months we've watched traffic shrinking or becoming junk. This week we started getting contacted by potential customers who wanted to know if our videos were A.I.

I'm wondering if A.I. might do more damage than good.

Social media and SEO are dumpster fires

Traffic from Social Media and SEO are 99.999999999% garbage

With Social Media and SEO you'll need a Billion visitors a day and you might earn 10 cents from advertising.

Plus using Social Media and SEO is like purposely stepping on land mines. Because, they're FLOODED with the same AI slop which is killing the Internet

Social Media is just another type of slop.

When someone's only job is earning money from views on social media than the AI garbage is great.

But when you actually need someone to click a link to a site then it's pure shit.

(Also the traffic from those who did click that link is 5 levels below elephant dung)

You need explore other advertising models
Channels especially since you mentioned your traffic to be drying

Well that's kind of the reason I made the post.

Unfortunately,
Instead of suggestions or ideas, I'm getting the same tired responses.

Plus there's been an abundant number of people DM with attempts to sell me backlinks on crummy unrelated blogs, guest posts, tube sites, etc.

You might need to find another way to monetize your sites rather than display ads.

If social media content was done, I wouldn't see so many groups/pages alive
 
It is not AI itself that is to blame but poor-quality AI-generated content that has led to a decrease in credibility. It would help to show real demos or behind-the-scenes videos or footage.

Depends on how & upto which extent you’re using it . And make sure you use AI for research & knowledge purpose only don’t copy paste use your creativity that would makes it a successful campaign.

If I was to place a bet with a bookie...
I would bet that those 'groups/pages' are :

A. Bullshit - Countless are bots and /or people with multiple accounts attempting "stealth" spamming and /or the platform using fake accounts to give the illusion of popularity.

B. Traffic from them is 97% USELESS freeloaders. IF The 'real people' in that group ever bother to click a link... The only thing they want is an immediate dopamine rush from something they can get for free. They read nothing and stare at the screen with a dumb look and their tongue hanging out.

And things are getting WORSE.

I think AI is changing user behavior more than killing traffic. People are more skeptical now, especially if content feels too polished or generic.
We have been putting more effort into showing real people and real proof because trust seems harder to earn than it was a year ago.
