I setup a campaign yesterday to promote a product i created. All campaigns are eligible.

I receive some traffic (3000 impressions) but now I'm getting no traffic today at all.

I went and googled some of my keywords and even clicked one of them to see if the impressions would change. My ads are running in google but the click did not register neither do any impressions anymore.

What's going on?

thanks

Probably there has not beeen any click for it.
I dont think you will run into " NO clicks getting tracked " problem if you place all your links correctly.
Please recheck if you all the things setup correctly , sometimes we think every stuff is done correctly but some part is left undone. Just my 2 cents :)

the time that you clicked your click impression prob showed up as a fraudulent click. you can check this by running a campaign report and checking the invaild click checkboxes (2 of them) As for your ad showing up and you not getting impression/charged for it well that could only be a blessing.. lol I wish I had that problem. Are people going to your landing page?

it looks like adwords is capping my account and stopping traffic.

I checked stats last night. they had turned the traffic back on at nearly the same time i saw it running the first day the campaign was started...and they also turned it off quickly as well.
I checked this morning and the stats were the exact (to the number) same as they were last night when i looked.

So it seems they are turning the account on late evening/early morning, the campaign generate about 2900 impressions. (2960 the first day, 2872 last night) Then they turn it off. I'm only spending around $5 and i have my daily max spend set to $100. Average ad placement is 2.4 and I've verified that.

that doesn't explain why adwords still has a green flag by the ads and says the ads are running.

SO what do you think? Google is cutting off my traffic it seems?

Hmmm. I don't trust the average ad placement....perhaps Google dropped the quality score of your keywords so the ads don't get shown in a high position? Have you checked the QS?

i made some changes to my ads to raise some of the quality score a bit. How long does it take google to go back thru the ads and update the QS?

The QS is mainly applied by the CTR from the keyword. So you need impression with this keyword to get your QS re-evaluted by Google.
