Traffic Generation Secrets. You go any?

Hi there,

I am really trying to search for some excellent methods to get lots of legitimate traffic (either free or paid).

Of course there are the standard methods that we probably all know ie. Article marketing, forum posting, social bookmarking.

I am just wondering if anybody out there is prepared to reveal their own favourite methods of generating lots of traffic to their site. Anybody have any really great methods that they would be prepared to share.

To get free targeted traffic, craiglist is one of the best way. And paid one is google adword.
Video marketing(youtube and others) is as good as article marketing (ezine) to get free traffic.

I have no secrets to reveal but I am afraid that all those methods are apsolute if we do not start obiding new search engines rules.

Most of all latent semantic indexing, proper site structure, thematic and similar. I am fun of Bruce Clay SEO site. There are tons of articles and tools that will help understand what real big dogs are doing.
Big dogs meaning folks that are true profesionals and have nothing in common with Internet marceting guru hipe.

Do not misunderstand me, I respect gurus but just to the point.

New google rules are going to wipe out all of us who do not obide, I'm afraid...

As far as I have seen that the Article marketing offers a lot promising traffic than other methods. I take it that you have tried all these and not satisfied. I am also looking for others opinion thinking that, am I being satisfied with very little?

If you can hire a CL poster (or already have experience with it) that will bring you boatloads of traffic.

My personal favorite is article marketing with ezinearticles.com - if you know how to write compelling titles, your article can get hundreds of views per day and tons of clicks (based on the strength of your resource box)

You have already mentioned most of techniques for generating high traffic. One thing left that is directory posting.

Anybody have tips for CL advertising? I have this adult blog that I occasionally post in the w4m and casual encounters but I'm still not getting any new traffic I just pretend to be this young woman looking for a good time and then post my site and say "oh yeah go here for some more pics of me"
