    Hi
Have been trying recently to find a solution to finding out how many inbound links point to my sites and the keywords that are being used to do so, qty of each keyword or phrase. So i have looked at :
    majesticseo
    ahrefs
These offer free services to some extent, the paid services are not exactly cheap & i am wondering if they are even worth it as the inbound links count they show for some of the sites i have which i have been adding links to every day (talking quite a few thousand) do not show as being added to the existing count using these free services, Google webmaster tools is so slow & far behind just like bing. Yahoo site explorer you could see the count going up every time you searched, so my question is are the paid services more accurate or are there better ones to find out the count daily?.

    Have you tried backlinkwatch.com yet?

You can check up to 1k links and then you have to upgrade to a paid account.

Edit: it looks like they've partnered up with ahrefs.

Just had a look ran a few tests again not very accurate on link qty, Thing is i know that the links are being indexed and followed by Google spider due to the results in the search engine for the terms + i am using a few services to have them indexed but finding a service that provides updated link info on a daily basis thats even close to accurate is an issue.

I analyse my links from several different sources: SEOSpyglass, MajesticSEO and Google Analytics. I also run livelink check regularly with ScrapeBox. You need to keep tabs on your your links and not just tier 1s and you need to regularly filter out the ones that get deleted and index the ones that aren't indexed already.

I personally think Majestic SEO is over priced as it shows less links than SEOSpyGlass (1 time fee) and it is rubbish for writing reports. As it is rubbish for reporting, i don't think it warrants a monthly fee and therefore I don't keep the monthly subscription up and rather turn it on every few months when i need to and do a batch at a time. Ahrefs is the best 1 and is worth paying monthly as the reporting is good but it is twice the price of a silver majesticSEO package
