Hey everyone,
One thing I am having a hard time with for PPC is tracking the keywords that convert. If I were using adwords, I know I can see how many clicks each word gets, and all the information on it, but how do I know what keywords are actually converting into a lead or sale?

Good question . I personally do not use adwords but I do use analytics . Now I beleive that there is something you can set up like that on analytics .

*hold on while I check it out*

Hmm seen something in there about conversion and something about keywords . do not know if you can combine it to keyword conversion .

But ya might wanna check it out for yourself . I am only fireing on half a cyclinder right now .

I was wondering the same thing month ago so I found out that X Conversions is program that can track conversions. I haven't bought it yet but I plan to buy it in the future :)
Another free program is prosper 202 but you have to set it yourself, and problem why I think X Conversions is better is because prosper will tell you only converting keywords that you have entered in Adwords and X Conversion will tell you the actual phrase that someone searched and then converted. That's why this is priceless because you can test keywords and phrases in broad searches and find out which phrases are converting and you haven't even entered them in Adwords :)

azoogle allows google pixel to be added and so does other affiliate where u have to ask the aff manager to do it for you

Try Google adwords analytics or just google analytics...
If using reg google you can set up "Goals". If you're using adwords they have it already. Type "adwords analytics" in the SE

Prosper202 is what i use, although like someone else mentions it doesn't show the actual searched phrase, but the KW used to display your listing. I actually back it up with another script (Kaizen Track) purely to see full phrases searched for. Obviously i can't link the 2 together but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out which KW was triggered when said phrase was searched. Plus, you can use Adwords reporting tool, which will actually provide you with full search terms.

Take a look at adtrackz.com. Its a great program I bought some time ago and still using it. Now newly (Nov3, 2008) updated.

try tracking202.com so far the best I have used for free. Be sure to watch all their video tutorials to learn how to use it.

Extreme conversions is super cool. Coz it shows you the bid keyword, automatically inserts the tracking code and you can then go to your control panel to see which bid keyword converted to a sale. It also tells you which engine or which site the searcher came from.

This is what i get from my xtreme conversions panel:

TID: 133
BID Keyword: treating yeast infection
Domain: www.google.com
Frequency: 23

If you go to clickbank you will then check your tracking ids and see in xtreme conversions which keywords made you sales.

That is all you need to be honest.
