Hi I am new to BHW but it is a great forum!

Anyway i have a question. I have a blog that had just a couple backlinks, maybe like 50 or so. I had a PR2 just from those links. So then i got some more links Some even from PR4 sites. All the sites i got links from where related to my niche and they all had my keyword in the anchor text. After the last PR update i totally lost my PR and i dont even show up in the rankings for my keyword.

What could be going on? Anyone who can help is the best.

My site is Online Money for Teens hxxp://onlinemoneyforteens.blogspot.com if you could do a little bit of research.

Thanks!!!!!

sorry my friend you've been google slapped ...

you could just be sandboxed try looking tommorow and seeing if you are there or not :)

It is a blogger blog. Don't those usually rank high in G?

Well, I would certainly like to know the deal here. I often use blogger (never used wordpress) and I would like to prevent this from happening to me!

Yeah im thinking of now using Wordpress for some new stuff i am starting because of this. I don't know what happened. It seems like this has happened to a bunch of blogger blogs.

I also have another question. Do you think i need to mix up the keywords that link to my blog? I have been putting Online Money for Teens as the only keyword. Should i put variations? Will that help.

Thanks

at least the PR bar still turns white... good sign and you still have 8 backlinks via gxxgle... I'm sure you have more... but u know how G is... my guess - sandboxed...

Yes, figure out some variations on your keyword and incorporate it.

that means its time to stop playing by the rules fuck google n switch to blackhat seo full time let da dark force be with u

I can remind, that my Blog once disappeard for 5 days, but came back much better. After 2 months the same, now 3 days gone and again back.

But if you site is too young, then it should be the Sandbox, to fast LinkBuilding.

No big deal. It'll be back in a few months :)

In the meanwhile, put up some YouTube videos, and promote that. I haven't heard of YouTube videos getting sandboxed...
