Though I'd share my favorite "must have" firefox plug-ins for whitehatting / blackhatting?whatever.

1. SeoQuake - Seoquake allows to obtain and investigate many important SEO parameters of the internet ( I this this on is a must have for SEO.)

2. iMacros - Automate Firefox. Record and replay repetitious work. Repetitive tasks like visiting the same sites every days, filling out forms, and remembering passwords

3. RelaodEvery - Reloads web pages every so many seconds or minutes.

4. NoScript - Allow active content to run only from sites you trust, and protect yourself against XSS and Clickjacking attacks (blocks unsafe advertising scripts and code)

5. ProxySwitch - With just one click switch your proxy ON/OFF.

6. NoDoFollow - simple extension to highlight links in a page according to nofollow / ******** status. (Was great for manually finding ******** blogs and forums.

Feel free to post your favorites? and maybe even how you use them to do what you do?! :D

Thanks for the list. I tried SeoQuake a few days ago, but it slowed down my computer too much and decided to get rid of it, however, I did find it to be quite a useful tool.

I never thought/heard that there is a plugin for this purpose.
I will try it.

Yeah, I only enable it when I need it. Its very powerful but resource intensive. If you keep it on while doing excessive searching, it will kinda slow everything down, especially on older systems.

Add this on your list. It's like PR Storm on a browser.

RefControl - Controlling your referrer.

Code:

I really like the website developer tool bar. Its good way to take a quick look at peoples pages.

Tamper Data. It shows you, over which servers you are redirected, when clicking an URL. Great for testing tracking-systems.

My most used firefox plugin is "Fetch text url" which saves me a looot of clicks daily. It basically fetches any clickable or non-clickable url and opens this url in a new tab. So you don't have to highlight a link, copy it, open new tab, paste copied link and hit enter. You can do this in 2 clicks.

Code:

Live HTTP Headers is a must have...for me at least. I think most people know of it, but I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread yet.

Code:
[URL]https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3829[/URL][URL="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3829"]
[/URL]

I also like IE Tab, so you can see how your pages render in FF and IE.

Code:
[URL]https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419[/URL][URL="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419"]
[/URL]

And I like the Undo Closed Tabs Button...

Code:
[URL]https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3082[/URL][URL="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3082"]
[/URL]

I also use a bunch of the others already mentioned, as needed, but just wanted to add these to the mix.

.

SearchStatus does what SEOquake does without slowing the comp to a crawl (marks nofollow on browser, pagerank, alexa, backlinks, indexed pages, keyword density, etc.)

I like this one better for that, you can just double click a non-clickable link to open it in a new tab, you don't need to worry about highlighting it, context menus etc.

Code:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1939
