What is the top 3 forum softwares in your opinion?

I believe you probably think vBulletin is on top.

    What follows?
    MyBB? phpBB? Simple Machines?

    To save your questions:
I am looking for top 3 forum softwares overall. Something you may want to think of:
    -Best support
-Biggest range of plugins and themes
-Most customizeability (I know its not a word, but it should be!)
    -Best SEO

Also, is vBulletin worth the money?

Vbulletin by far is the best, most stable, most supported forum software available. There are plugins for everything you can imagine and most competent web designers can make custom themes for it very easily if you cant find one you like out of the thousands available.

    Well worth the price.

vB is well worth the price. If you wanted something free then I'd go for phpbb.

You guys are forgetting to include your top 3 opinions. You both said 1st is vBulletin what about 2nd and 3rd? 1 also mentioned phpBB as second.

MyBB definitely, coming from a forum admin background and having tested them all.

    MyBB comes out on top.

I don't know man. Very buggy. I have been owner/admin of my forum for 1 year, find all plugins are very buggy.

And what plugins would those be?

MyBB itself is the best free forum software imo.

And most of the plugins work without any problems, only really old and unsupported ones may have some problems.

Use MyBB, you won't regret it.
