    Hi,

i'm trying to start a new social network. I've read how reddit, paypal etc started out by seeding their site with tons of fake accounts, comments, content, etc.

I'm trying to biuld something like that but in my native language. Any tool that helps you create tons of fake accounts and comments etc? Thanks

well, i guess you would need to make the social media platform at first and after that it would be pretty easy to do anything on it including botting, populating the site with fake accs/activity, because you'd be the owner, no? :)

I agree with this notion. You are designing, and programming the site in-house or outsourcing. Either way someone is building what you tell them to build, so you could have them automate those initial account creations and thread posting or whatever. Alternatively you could code your own bots, or use iMacros to automate those processes once the platform is built. It will be a bit hard for anybody to point you to a tool to automate creation of accounts on a site that hasn't been built yet.

Got something up and running already. Nothing fancy at all, just a reddit clone script from codecanyon. If you read how reddit, paypal, and even airbnb got started, they were pretty blackhat in their early stages. Botted accounts, spamming craigslist and whatnot.

So far what I've been doing is creating accounts using 10-minute mail and submitting (or rather seeding) the site with content, comments, and whatnot. But since the mail lasts only ten minutes it's a constant struggle to get new ones going.

Maybe use gsa on my own site? Anyone with experience in this regard do chime in..

if you already have the site, you can hire somebody to automate the whole populating process for you and/or pay for guest posters

if you wanna do it all by yourself, that would take quite a bit of time, but if the email address is your only problem, there's an easy workaround, if you have a single gmail address, you're having basically unlimited addresses, because let's say this is your gmail address: [email protected], now if you put dots in it like this [email protected], you'll still get the emails in your [email protected] inbox or you can put plus sign too, same effect, obviously longer address means more variations
it's a well-known trick since ages and it's still used on sites where you can use catchall emails (like your own site :))
