Hi can anyone recommend any tools which can categorize a large list of website/urls/backlinks.

Any tools which can tell you:
The category of the website e.g. finance, health, etc
The type of site: blog, article directory (Already know about Link Detective, is there anything else?)

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,
    AgentZero

About Page type (blog, forum, etc), Link Research Tools does a good job. Urlprofiler as well.
Search Metrics offer this but not on a per page level so it's sucks... still helpful when analyzing domains link profile.
To categorize websites, it looks like similarweb offer this with the API but I don't have a pro account there: developer.similarweb.com/website_categorization_API

You don't need a Pro account to use this tool. You just need to sign up to their API.

Also, you can use a Google Spreadsheet extension - j.mp/1F0hGxf
