    Hey friends

Is there a paid/free tool that can bulk check lists of links and remove the bad, spammy ones?

alexa/semrush/ahrefs/moz- do any these sites have a metrics that can accurately detect spammy links that can harm ur domain?

    I had used all 3 moz/semrush/ahrefs to compile a list of urls/domains.

MOZ was the easiest using OSE, I exported the whole backlinks profile and sorted by their "Spam Score"

I see. So 17 is the maximum score for spam, meaning that its spammy as hell. While 0 is the lowest, meaning its not yet checked or that its alright.

What does it mean when its -1 tho? Also. Unfortunately I am really new to this metrics and (No clue if its reliable) and I wonder what spam score level should I keep close to my money site. Like, should i remove these above spam score of 5 or less/more?

@mbreezy thanks but i need to bulk check from a list. indexing them all and waiting till they show in GSC would be bad.

Understood. Since I've used the SEMrush tool, I can vouch for it and recommend that it is slightly helpful.

For your situation, I might recommend this tool: http://www.linkresearchtools.com/tools/dtox/

I've never used it, but I have heard good things from a couple SEO peers.

I would personally generate link list using the tools you mentioned.

Then, disavow them using the Google's disavow tool.

As for Spam as a metric. It's a hit and miss with these tools.

For example, Moz introduced "spam score" into their algorithm not so long ago and it always gives 5+ score if the Anchor text is not in English. It's a legit site that just has non-english backlinks.

You can't rely on something like that.
