Hello guys i found that wikipedia backlinks are great , i have made a moderator account few months before and now i have added two links to my money site and seen a great rise in serp for those keywords..

So is pointing too mny links from wikipedia to my money site is harmful ?? Whats your opinion guys..

And if anybody needs them they can Pm me too

Thanks

How could they be harmful? First, these links are no-follow and second they come from one of the biggest authority site on the internet.

I don't think multiple Wikipedia links would be harmful unless your entire link profile is just from Wikipedia. That might set off a red flag but honestly even then probably not because Wikipedia links are incredibly whitehat.

The only harm would be spamming Wikipedia until they blacklist your site. I've seen this happen.

Definitely not, no doubt.

Hi, how long it took you to bee a wikipedia moderator ? because i'm interested for this too. thanks

Not at all i believe. Until you get warned by another moderator. It happened with me already. I added one of my site to wikipedia and after 3-4 months later they deleted it. Later i add it again :p and after 1 month later they removed it again. This time moderator filed a red flag against me and report to Google.

So my suggestion, not to do any spamming there to keep safe :D

I have heard wikipedia links to be very notorious. Read some case where they were involved in children kidnappings but only when they were more than a few.

To websites i have not heard of any harm done though.

I think it is not dangerous, as long as backlinks written correctly, keywords that are not too repetitive and unique backlinks page.

If you put so many articles and they are the same article.
Backlinks you do not mean anything, and does not help your web site to grow

no way it is harmfull. I think the more RELEVANT links from wiki you will get the more DA and Trust Flow you get even though this links are nofollow.

Anything in excess is not good. Now the question would be what is excess. You can judge with the backlinks that your competitor holds as to what is excess. Don't let your competitor report your site to Wiki moderator, keep that in mind when you build the backlinks.

my god i should stop this ... its very scary

I did about 30-40 over the past 6 months and no issues.

links from wikipedia are not much better than others
very important linked URL or anchor text
