I know my title is a little misleading but it was done purposely to grab some attention. LOL. Basically the point of this thread is to help others like myself who want a baseline from the experts.

Im trying to read, trust me I am but I honestly get sooo confused when I'm reading a thread about a specific program (for example: Xrumer) and then here comes everyone with well you have to linkwhell this, web 2.0 that, ping this, senuke this, etc. etc. so by the time im done reading about Xrumer im looking into building web 2.0 sites, looking into pinging previously created backlinks, etc and by the time I know it i completely lost focus on my original goal which was learning about Xrumer. LOL.

So with that being said, where do I start and focus on ONLY? Can someone just suggest an order of what to learn from start to finish so that way I can be as successful as possible with blackhat.

What I fear most is that I start doing something and later read I shouldve done something else prior and now everything Ive done is the past is obsolete. Im not asking to get detailed, Im just saying a simple:

    1.
    2.
    3.
    etc

scale on what to learn in sequence.

As of right now I own Xrumer, Scrapebox, The Best Spinner and a couple other things but Id be lying if I said I was a master at any of them. I think by the time Im done reading a thread, Im buying something. LOL. I need to slow down and start from scratch again and Im hoping someone/anyone is willing to point me in the right direction.

Man... you own xrumer and you don't know where to start?

Do you have any website/blog up?
Do you have any accounts with adsense/amazon/cpa/affiliate programs?

My 1,2,3 is: 1. Think of a topic I would like to promote. 2. Register a domain. 3. Upload wordpress and seo plugins. 4. Write 2 quick articles related to the topic. 5. Build backlinks to the site using scrapebox. 6. Monetize. 7. Let it sit a week. 8. Repeat steps 4,5,7 every week.

Well heres the deal. I own a couple sites. One is ranked #1 on google for a couple keywords but that was done white hat and its been that way for about 2 years. Ive had the site since about 2006-2007 but I want to get it ranked number one for another keyword.

My other site is about 1 1/2 years old and doesnt rank on google for anything major. So I would like to get that site bumped up on google as well.

As far as wordpress sites. Can you give me an example of a good wordpress site as an example? Im not good at writing articles but ill try anything to get my sites ranked higher.

and yes, I own Xrumer but like I said, when i start reading threads about it I get sidetracked by all this other linkwheel, ping this, ping that, etc. talk and i get lost so I never properly learned how to work it. LOL. I mean I know the basics, but I know the VERY basics.

    Hey your not alone ;)

Started only a few weeks ago and like you get lost on the sequence of things.

First thing i would suggest is you search for this thread-
    create-web2-0-structures-yourself-simple-method.

sorry i dont seem to be able to post the full link.

    Some great advice there.

Basically you want to build a link pyramid using web 2.0 sites like hubpages, squidoo, blogspot etc

Make 1 tier of these web 2.0s dont interlink them.
Download spinnerchief and make yourself some original content to put on the web 2.0s
Wait awhile then update your tiers with more original content this time linking back to your money site.
Then use any means you can to backlink the tiers

Im a noob too so best advice would be to read that post above

    Good luck:eek:

Thanks Boris. Ill def. look at that recommended thread. One question, what exactly do you mean by:

"Make 1 tier of these web 2.0s dont interlink them."

    Whats a tier? LOL

If you read that thread then search for link wheel/pyramid there is loads of advice and some diagrams of the pyramid structure that explain the tiers.
    Sorry i cant post them.

Take Mark Kolowich's story of World Express Rx as an example of "Whats the opertunity how can i exploit it"

I went through the exact same thing. I bought tools left and right and was all over the place.

    This is what I did:

list your goals then prioritize them. It doesn't matter if you want to make money using adsense or CPA. The point is to focus on ONE thing for each step. I created a spreadsheet with the steps I needed and stuck with it. No matter how badly I want to read a new method or tool, I stayed with my checklist.

For example if you're building a site, just focus on learning wordpress. Ge good at it. Then learn onpage SEO. Then leverage the tools you need for spinning your articles. Then work on a tool for backlinking.

Once you get good at each of these layers, you can enhance them by adding another technique. Maybe use a social bookmarking tool, then add another backlinking tool after that.

Look at it as a martial art and get good at one technique at a time instead of trying to master them all. It will only slow down your progress.

    Remember, stick to your list.
