    He is named after a former "Beefy Senior basketball player" from Island Christian School in the Keys.

    Beefy = Man Boobs.

    I would resurface that with whitewash aka limewash it's just an oldschool mix of calcium hydroxide & water.

    I used it on 2 lions I got off CL it's really cool stuff. Calcite salts have double the refraction of titanium and aluminum salts. And when whitewash dries in the sun (even half sun) it gives off a blinding white glow.

    You can also use it for antique effect by adding more water. Whereas paint binds to surfaces whitewash is pulled into the pores. And it protects outdoor stuff from acidification, mold, bacteria, algea, etc. Though a quick power wash might work too.

    Here's some pics:

    I had planned on powerwashing it next time I pulled the power washer out but had not even thought of limewashing it but that may something to consider as TDG has been out in the FL sun for ages and could probably use a little more attention than just a cleaning.

    Thanks for that.
