Having been a smoker for over 10 years, I can tell you that it is a disgusting habbit with little benefit, however, for some reason we don't mind killing ourselves for nicotine. I'm glad to say that I've quit smoking, it's been almost 4 months now, and I have to say I feel great. At my worst, I was smoking two to three packs a DAY. With that being said, I still enjoy nicotine without having to intake 4000 chemicals.

Anyways, the point of the post is the show you how I did it, I bought a vape! E-cigs are nothing new, but the industry as a whole has come along way. Believe me when I tell you there is a perfect vape out there for you!

Personally I've been using a variable voltage mod with two kanger pro tanks, and some juice that is flavored exactly to the brand of cigarettes I used to smoke (Players).

Here's an example of what I'm using:

If you have any questions, feel free to post them or PM me, I'd love to help!

I used to smoke players light until they went up to 15$ a pack here. I now smoke Studio. I smoke about a pack a day. Does this really take the habit part of it out? Does the nicoteen headache really go away? Does it feel like you are smoking?

A smoker of what, because for a lot of people like those who smoke weed, cigars and hookah etc smoking isn't an addiction it's a recreational activity. People smoke by choice, it's such a load of BS that people play the addicted card all the time any excuse to keep doing something they find comforting. If you like smoking just say you like it, don't BS people into saying oh I'm addicted oh it's hard to quit etc, just makes you look daft IMO.

Absolutely, I haven't had ANY side affects what so ever, and I still have the satisfaction of nicotine. The price is ridiculous for Players, now I'm spending about $12 every month for a bottle of juice.

You're right, it's very stupid, and I agree. But, the nicotine does calm my nerves, I don't know how I would be without it.

I'm talking about cigarettes. So I guess I'm a daft then lol?

It does offer nicotine which is a stimulant, but smoking, snuffing and chewing are outdated methods of getting nicotine.

Our body is build in so perfect way that it creates the necessary needs by itself. Why should I stimulate him or force him??
Beside that, even if it does a little benefit, I have a rule for my life. If something I do will do more bad then good, never do it.
And I think everyone should do the same, you have to think with logic.

Are you really certain that ecigs are healthier? There's been a lot of debate around this and NO ONE is certain what the long term effects these oils you breathe in your lungs have on your body.

100 years ago the US General Surgeon recommended smoking. 50 years ago, they didn't recommend smoking loudly but they endorsed it:

    View attachment 35324

And there are tons more of similar marketing material out there: http://www.healio.com/~/media/Image...009/03_March_10/LuckyStrike_250_359_37712.jpg

They knew from the get go that smoking is bad for you (throat inflamation, coughing, loss of muscular tonus and stamina, headaches, dizzyness and so on). In the 50's, when they tied smoking to cancer they stopped saying "US General Surgeon recommends smoking" and switched to "Doctors love to smoke brand x".

If you want to quit smoking, don't swap a known evil with an unknown one. Just quit smoking all together.

You're 100% right mate, and I agree with you.
The problem is, quitting is a lot easier said than done. Personally I've tried to quit many times over the past 10 years, and finally this has worked for me. It may not be healthier, but I can tell you that I feel 1000x better. My main intention here is to promote a solution to the smokers of BHW, really I'm just trying to help!

Mods: Sorry for the double post, it was an accident!

Well if small steps work for you then do that. But don't remain at this level mate. Don't settle for ecigs. Try to get rid of those asap. I know it's hard and you need a lot of willpower but it can be done. The first 2 weeks are the worst. After that you'll forget you ever smoked.

I used to smoke ciggs for a 13 years....after constant headaches and throat pain, i switched on rolling tobacco.
I know its not big deal..im still smoking, but at least i dont inhale 300+ additives you find in ciggs and i dont have headaches no more.

    Next step quitting for good.

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but what are exactly the benefits of smoking?

The longer you smoke the harder it is to quit.

I've been smoking for around 2 year's now and I can go 1-2 day's without a cigarette easily, but I will quit as I don't have a problem with putting a cigarette down (Only smoke due to stress).

Next step is an E-cig :D

I was at 2- 2 and a half packs/day (40-50 cigarettes per day) for about 5 and a half years. I quit smoking 2 months ago, no ecigs, no patches - just plainly stop lighting up the damn things. Never felt better in my life!
