Hey guys, Just have a quick question for those of you who have employed va's before. Last week was the first week she was working for me. All was good and she was working part time and getting everything that I needed done. I payed her her cut for the week, and then she asked that if next week (this current week) she could start working full time. I said yes and gave her even more tasks to do, knowing that these tasks should keep her busy for about 6-7 hours. But this morning I wake up and get the message "I am sorry I wasn't able to get to the articles, I'm sick and waiting for my meds to kick in. I will get to it tomorrow I promise." So really, she did zero work on her Tuesday because she was quote on quote sick. And on Monday, she still didn't get everything done that I was asking. And I can assure you, if she wants to work "full-time" like she said, then 8 hours a day should be WAY more than enough to get everything done. I told her that's fine, but now am I expected to pay her for days that she didn't get done what was expected? So far for this week, I feel as thought she only deserves about a 4th of what I'm supposed to pay her... What is your experience with this?
