i keep seeing threads about fiverr sellers complaining about the buyers, and keep saying "what do you expect for $5"

im a buyer not a seller, and i expect the best from you.

let me explain why, your the seller, you say you will do something for $5, you opened the gig, you chose what you want to sell for $5, nobody pushed you, so why cant you do a good job?

if you think $5 is not enough for your service, well, don't offer it.

i place orders nearly everyday, but i always order from the same sellers, with some sellers i order 10 gigs per week, plus i often tip them for the work, you know why? the sellers delivers on time, they don't lie about their gigs, and the work is top quality.

if you lie about your gigs, and keep saying "what do you expect for $5" well don't be surprise why you don't have any returning orders, or ppl claiming a refund, or getting a bad review.

do a good job and offer the best from you, you wont need any fake reviews nor gig exchanges nor multiple accounts.

one of the sellers i order often from, he is averaging 15-20 gigs per day, how many sellers here have that kind of sales per day?

    just my 2cent

Buyers often have unrealistic expectations as to what they are going to get for 5$. I also often get buyers that do not even read the gig properly, then complain, then get a refund even though a lot of the time the job has been done.

This is true, some sellers are offer gigs that cant deliver on time or not write in the description all the details. On the other hand some buyers for 5$ want a lot more stuff that you offer for 5$ and also dont want to buy the extras

Very well put. Yes, sometimes buyers will demand extra services but on the whole I think if you're clear about what you're offering and deliver on time then there's no need to complain.

hahaha so coincidental that I just opened a thread on my fiverr today. I believe is a problem when ordering online with some miscommunication between buyers n sellers. It is wrong that if a seller promises but failed to deliver, on the other hand, the buyers need to be realistic sometime that if the deal is so good to be true, mostly it is, so please proceed order with cautious and read reviews as well.

Yes you are right but but sometime buyer ask more than we promised in our gig and when we don't want to do that they threaten to leave negative review. I am not saying all buyer do that but some cheap buyer do that they want service in free.

I agree. Although buyers can often be delirious in their views of what they feel they are entiltled to, I have one gig where I offer to do a certain task one time, I say in the gig description a few times that I'm only going to do this once, last week a buyer left a review saying, "very dissapointed , I expected over a 1000 but only got one" but I was like whaaaaat , managed to get him to change his review in the end though
