I got a question? I'm using wordpress as my landing page for various cpa lead offers. Can anyone give me a good way to track clicks to lead conversions using wordpress?

What do you mean? Independently from the stats of the affiliate program? Or you want to know which clicks lead to conversions?

if you monitor your conversions live, you can place simple javascript tracking like Statcounter.com in the footer of your wordpress template. Statcounter will tell you which phrase brought people to the page and at what time, which you can correlate with the times of the lead conversions.

It's a free, primitive way to do it.

That sounds like a solution battman. I'll try it out. Has anyone tried adtrackz? I was wondering would adtrackz cookie the visitor from the keyword and let me know if they converted to a lead. That's the problem I am having now. Before this I couldn't get a lead to convert from a direct linking campaign until I created my own landing page for each offer. Then I started seeing the leads come in. Now I need to know which ones are converting so I can start profiting continuously. Thanks for the feedback!

I use both StatCounter and Sitemeter. StatCounter only holds 500 most recent log entries for free. Sitemeter has no limit. Sometimes, I also get more info from one than the other.

you can use speedppc (a little pricey, but I'm sure someone here can post a download link) along with the runphp plugin for tracking on wordpress pages.
I have not tried it on wp posts but it works with wp pages,
Cheers

some one post speedppc here you just have to look

I have been using statcounter and I think StatCounter covers all details about traffic. I just saw sitemeter website and demo stat on its website. Is there any specific advantage of Sitemeter over statcounter? Then I will change to sitemeter.

In the back of google adwords, they have conversion tracking code, that you can actually set up for any offer you want. Even outside of google adwords. You enter in your specific information, and they generate a tracking code, that you place on your page. It's a pretty slick system and I use it right now.

yes, i agree with Blackbenzo, you could actually install the google adwords conversion tool which is part of google analytics. it's quite simple you have to define the funnel of the sales process and the where you will render the google pixel tracking after the action, normally a sale.

Google provides loads of help and example, altough you should be aware that you would be contributing to giving Google more informartion about you and your users...

hope this helps

cheers
