do you guys use the" tittle= "attribute in your links? and does it really matter?
Yes i use it and it's really nice seo trick. With title attribute you can increase your keyword density and will have kw in your anchor text - very important.
Great question keptman,
The title attribute is used to describe the link where a user will be taken if they click on the anchor text. In terms of SEO, it provides no weight. Much like the alt attribute, some users will stuff keywords (relevant or not) into a title attribute. Not only does this not help SEO for a website but it provides a poor user experience. Google stated a while ago that they do not use title attribute as a weighting factor in search. Even if this changed, putting irrelevant or duplicate keywords in a title attribute is not a good idea. You should only use it if the anchor text in the link is not descriptive enough on its own.
Here is a great post on the subject,
Hope that helps you,
