If you purchased 3 months ago have you checked to see how many are still alive.

Last year I purchased a similar package, I checked 3 months later and only 11 links were live with about 3 indexed.

Those types of links do work but you have to keep building them to make them work, so buying a package is the wrong way to do it

You must constantly build the links yourself, and maintain them.

As always, they respond to criticism by spamming their own thread with "positive reviews".

And the reason why I write "positive reviews" is that its messages from their friends that open a BHW account just to try to boost their sales threads. Quite obvious when you see a 1-month-old account being ecstatic about some absolute trash PBN link building service.

Dude, just forget about any of sarkars services, unless you want to hurt your site. There are hundreds of better sellers on the marketplace.

I hate the way sellers are able to bump the thread with these long arse copy, you just cant see the negative review because they can flood it with the negative comment.

    Yeap...This is the main issue!
And even if you set up a payment system people often buy reviews to build up their portfolios on sites like Fiverr and Upwork. So, why stop the competition to do the same with negative reviews from paying customers?

I am more interested to see a moderating system for whenever a marketplace seller feels he/she is getting ripped off by one of those "paid negative reviews" can just report it and the case would be evaluated by an unbiased and objective moderation team or something like that.

I do feel BHW needs to implement...
    • An escrow service
    • Some sort of avg rating system
    • Trust badges (Elite Seller, Top Seller, etc) - All that based, not only on those reviews from verified paying customers but, also, the number of complete sales/orders. In order for all that to work, we need this "moderation team" to, as you say, "weed out" the fake reviews (both positive and negatives alike).

Finally someone speaking out. I had the same experience but it was so little money I just shrugged it off. I'm a more diligent person now; I definitely would speak out and contact a mod. I've honestly gotten the same crap from the top sellers. It feels like accountability can be bought here :-/

There's a thread on BHW that tell us a report on his journey buying shitty links and spam the hell out of his test site but in my opinion with all those money wasted I'd rather go with the list on this thread!

There are some reputable sellers, but a good deal of link selling (unfortunately) is people reselling other's services or doing really slapdash job while promising the world. Think about it - if someone is selling a way to mass build high-quality links, they're lying if they're not charging $500+ for it.

If they were able to build high-quality backlinks at scale, they would be doing it on their own affiliate pages and money sites rather than trying to sell cheap link building services. People are looking for shortcuts and that's exactly what you get when you pay like $20 for a link building service.

    Like who for example?

I've only come across one good link seller, and that was Finn's guestpost service. I think one other seller is genuine, but I haven't tried his stuff yet - so I can't say anything.

I have tried around 15 link sellers from here, in all types of price ranges. I'd say the majority are just overpriced Fiverr links, even the more expensive ones. In one of my most recent purchases, it turned out that the domains had previously been used as a chinese PBN. I'm certain those links would have cost $1 on Fiverr.

My tips to new users is to take 2 hours to skim through a bunch of link services and read the comments. This way you will see which Jr.Vips are leaving positive reviews just because they got something for free or network with the seller.

It's always the same people shilling for bad services. One of them being in this thread from first page to last page defending himself. :D
I understand it's easy to believe positive reviews just because the person has Jr.Vip and have been here for +4 years. That's why sellers are giving free reviews to these people. But it's always the same people, it's important to identify those users so that you know who not to trust. Just check the following positive reviews after OP's critical review, there you'll find a lot of them.

All part of doing due diligence. Go through the thread, and pickup on the critiques and comments from actual customers of that service, instead of the people who got asked to do a review.

There are a good link sellers - it's expensive and I haven't bought links in a long while, so I don't really feel comfortable recommending anyone who may not even be in business anymore. I don't vouch for things unless I genuinely like it or can see a benefit.

There's lots of ways to buy backlinks, but they come at a price. You're basically renting them or paying for them like ads - which btw is another option.

Did you read the original post? Seller was actually lying about the service or better to say didn't deliver what he promised. How do you plan to make a due diligence? Beside this I highly doubt anyone who is buying these links actually has the skills to judge whether the quality is good or not. I don't even wanna start talking about the reviews...like many posts in here pointed out: They are very high likely to be fake.

So imagine you are a newbie and got no clue about link building or SEO in general. You join BHW and see one of his threads with these ridiculous names (who the fuck came up with this shit?!) and all you see is how many people actually bought the service, how cheap it is, what it promises etc. I don't think anyone can make a due diligence or look through this scam with no experience or knowledge about SEO
