Hey guys, So i've been working online for a long time now. And i'm fucking tired of it. It's a very difficult thing to do, to make good money online.

I've tried running forums, but theirs already forum for every single subject.(And they're impossible to launch.)

I've tried the adult niche, I ran an adult blog, and an adult video website. It did better than my forums, but still not as good as I hoped. Competing with major websites like redtube and pornhub is just impossible.

I wanted to start a blog, but eventually I decided not to because I already know it's going to fail. Anyways I'm thinking of completely quitting this internet marketing business and just concentrate on my studies.

I don't know how easy it'll be to quit internet marketing.. that's like quitting the internet for me...

Anyways these are just my thoguhts, what do you guys think?

because in the end, you will do what u wanna do and this thread

I'm sort of indecisive. I'm not very confident in myself..
Deep down inside, I feel like I should quit because i'm just wasting my life here. But on the other had, what if one of my websites go big?

Also after about 4 years of marketing, I made about 2 grand. That's nothing. It's not enough to provide for a family...

if you have to ask should i quit - the answer is already in your mind.
people here can give you hundreds of there opinions, but the only 1
    that matters is your own.
you either try harder , diversify , try different methods.
or throw in the towel and walk away , its your life and your decision
no1 can make it for you.
if you cant convince yourself , why should anything we say make a
difference , because its what you think that counts

you have to consider it a business.
If you are not committed to doing it and you don't
enjoy it, then maybe you should consider doing something else.

If making money online were easy, everyone would be doing it.

At some point in your IM career, you'll come to a point where you'll have developed a successful business model that works for you -- which is what you need to do in order to really succeed. Having a bunch of small sites and making a little amount of money is good, but having an established business with 6-7-8 figure revenues is the end goal.

Dude you started something really hard man. Starting a forum requires a lot of work by which i mean you need more experience before starting it. And starting a porn site can make money but still you need to put in a lot of work and its not going to be easy. Your ambition is big but you are starting something really big and its failure causes you the depression.

I dunno, it wouldn't be hard for me to quit if I decided to quit, I'd just... quit. Its not like its an addiction.

IM is frankly not for everyone. I do it because its a means to an end; its also got absolute freedom and there is no one above me telling me what to do. There is no leader in the industry, really, so I'm just as good as anyone else. I like that.

But at the same time, its up-down-up-down. One day I hope to break off online investments and get into real, serious, large investments. But we'll see ;)

If its too stressful get out, its only going to get worse.

Alternatively, just try something less hard. I do offline marketing. Easy.

    To help you, Im saying,

I havent slept in 3 days.

Working with my fiverr reselling site, full time, without even watching a movie/going outside.

I got $200 order within first 5 days, even before it get fully indexed by google.

So think about what you have done.

    Hope this helps.

PS: Not self promoting or whatsoever.

The question is: can you really quit IM? Can you "live without it"?

If you love doing IM, don't give it up, and try to go into other directions... as another member suggested, try some "easier" method (like a Fiverr business) and start again from the ground.

    Hope this helps :)

I frankly can't live without fun/leisure. It makes me work way worse. The reason I like IM is because a lot if IS passive when done right. Its not worth it IMHO to not sleep in 3 days.

Sounds like your biggest issue is your thought pattern, get into some self-help shit. Once you get the right mindset nothing will stop you even when you have setbacks.

Also chunk it down, that was one of my biggest problems was focusing on all I had to do instead of taking it piece by piece and having little accomplishments that add up.

Hope that helps some, I know how frustrating and depressing it can be but there is so much money to be made out there. It's still really possible.

Quitting was always a option, I rather chose to keep going and eventually one day I came face-to-face with my destiny.

Not being negative but if you dont enjoy the game get out of it....lifes too short I am sure you are a talented person so go and find something you enjoy doing and can make money out of.

I make and market websites for recreation...its a part time gig thats also my hobby and it brings me profit....If I relied on it for my sole income I might find it a bit more frustrating than i do.

you have not tried that much but if you dont enjoy and dont earn its waist of time ..... quit maybe its not the right thing for you and that should not be negative.

i am enjoing the game less and less. but i earn money so i keep going. if i would earn like less than 1000 Euro a month i would quite and enjoy the time. checking you chicks is better than producing tier1 web2.0 or crap like that.

Instead of trying to break into internet marketing by building everything yourself from the ground up, why not focus more on affiliate marketing and selling other people's products? You're going to get burnt out administering sites and doing SEO yourself.

Save up some money to hire outsources for the really laborious stuff and focus your time and energy on testing new ideas.

That shit will make you 6 figures while having to work for the rest of your live 5 days a week and the whole day long.

I am 17 years old and I will hit 100k $ /year if things continue like this next year while working and scaling it up 2 hours a day.
The internet business is not "getting rich easy". But it is "getting rich fast" if you handle it like a business.
I was working up to 8 hours a day when I first started my websites.

You still have to work hard for success in IM. But if you do, at some point things change and you can basically just sit there and watch the money roll in. However, reaching that point was not easy... I worked hard, I learned HTML, css and database managment during school and worked on my sites after school for 8 hours, seven days a week.

I finally reached the point where I can do what I want and money just comes to me passively.
Infact, I could work 10 minutes a day just to check my mails and stats and still wouldn´t drop in income...
But I want to earn more. Thats why I invest, again, time to scale it up (2-3 hours a day working and managing new sites to get them to the passive status just like my other big sites).
And that was not 2 years ago when I started... I started to get serious about it 4 month ago... And I can tell you... Things look really promising ;)
