Hi everyone, I will be attempting to make money from Youtube and CPA. Why am I doing this? I need some serious motivation, I keep trying something for a day, maybe two, and I never make money, so I give up and resort to my Achilles Heel-video games. I really need to kick the gaming addiction, make money now, and play later! This thread is for hopefully keeping me motivated, because I'm really struggling with that right now. I feel another cause of this is that I don't work at it long enough on a daily basis as well...I often see others around BHW making good money but only working "3-4 hours a day" on something that actually brings them money! I do not understand this...I think if I had a viable business that was bringing in a decent cashflow, I would be working all day, every day, to bring more money at a quicker rate. But, perhaps I am being naive and do not yet understand this mindset. As far as my marketing skills go...I consider myself to be not so good at this...I am not so much a creative person as I am a literal one. I feel this hinder's my success and could very well keep me from ever reaching $274/day (my ultimate goal). Seriously, if I actually make money from this, ANYONE CAN. I'm making absolutely nothing right now, however, I did purchase some software to hopefully help increase my earnings. So what's my goal? Honestly, I don't really have one...but I guess making anything at all would bring me great joy. I feel that getting past that initial roadblock of making nothing will hopefully motivate me to work more. I feel that one of my biggest issues will be niche selection...I said above that I'm not a creative person (every time I see the standard "if this doesn't work for you then you should quit IM" posts I feel too scared to try them, in fear that I will fail, and have to go work at McDonald's! I probably won't even bother with keyword research, in a sense. What I mean is that I will think of games/software people will want for free, and check the competition in Youtube. If the competition is low, I'll upload an account and put 5 slideshows on that account, and see what happens. If I want something for free, surely someone else does, right? If I do end up doing research, I will likely only use the Youtube keyword tool, as the Adwords tool is more for ranking in Google I feel, and does not apply to me (I won't go for ranking my .webs.com sites). What's my gameplan? My current tools are CLPV2, HMA VPN, and Windows Movie Maker. My niche, while I won't give exact keywords (obviously), I will tell you it will be the software/gaming niche. My focus will be on quantity, not quality. I feel that having 5 slideshows on 40 accounts totaling 200 videos gives a better chance at success, rather than a few quality videos that could get flagged, and the work gone to waste. I will use HMA VPN to make one account per IP, and upload 5 slideshows per account, per IP. I will use the same videos on each account, but spun and given slightly different times so they'll be "different". I will use the same exact title, description, and tags for all 5 videos, unless I feel more than one keyword could be used i.e. "[DOWNLOAD] Free Software [Mediafire]" and "Software Free Download[WORKING]", I think you get the idea . As for how many accounts, and ultimately how many videos I should target per niche I'm not quite sure. I think I'll just do one account (5 videos) per niche, as I don't see doing more than that could be useful (please correct me if I'm wrong!) I'll be using free .webs.com sites, because spending $10/pop on real .com's is a bit out of my budget right now. Yes, I am aware this will hurt conversions, but I feel uploading enough videos/day can make up for that, especially if your videos are "tantalizing" enough. Also, I have the Enhanceviews program running, an Addmefast bot, a YLH bot, the Vagex external program (hate it, it gives way less credits, but I can't get the Mozilla plugin to work for some reason anymore...), and the U2Bviews program running. I'm only going to add views, and likes, to my videos. If I find that I can't rank my videos, I'll add subs, comments, etc. I will not be buying retention views, in fear that these slideshows will be taken down anyways and I will have wasted my money. I will not be sharing what networks I use, as I may begin blanking/faking the referrer if I actually begin to get conversions. Right now, I'm only doing US offers. I'd like to have 4 international offers, but the networks I'm with have no Content Locking approved + international offers...oh well. Yes, the payouts are lower, but right now I don't want to take a risk of being kicked out of a CPA network. That's all I have to say for now I believe...again, I cannot stress enough how much of a newb I am. Many of the other journey threads I read here begin making money within a day or two (even if it is a couple dollars), so it seems they're already confident that whatever they do works before they actually start the journey. I will warn you, I will probably not make any money for days...heck, I may never make a cent! This method I've developed (is that the right word?) could be completely awful...I don't know yet. Something I love people doing is telling you their mindset when they are doing something. This is why my post is so long...I'm really trying to give you a look in how I'm thinking, and maybe you can do the same thing and start making money! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns...maybe something that I'm way off about or that is "fatal" to my success as far as my gameplan goes, please feel free to share. So, yeah...please do not expect me to start making any money instantly, this is a beginner's journey! My plan right now is to make one account, and upload 5 videos to said account. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and even if you didn't, I wish you luck in your endeavors.
