No. The article is well done and 10 is a nice round number.

However. My brother is a successful engineer at At&t and one thing he's told me for most my life is "never recharge a battery until it drops below 15-20%". He said you will greatly shorten the life span if you keep recharging it at higher levels = more recharging = battery dies faster. This is a guy with a separate room in his basement dedicated to storing 100's of old and new laptops. He's get them for free from work. So I tend to trust most of what he tells me. :)

only thing you need to do is get the battery out and use your computer plugged in = unlimited battery life :)

Build a tesla coil and charge your laptop with longitudinal radio waves. Oh wait you don't live on my compound.. oops umm I would make sure to fully charge and discharge and if you are not using the battery take it out. Battery makers pre-program a set number of battery cycles into your battery.

This is the best thing you can do for sure, have heard this from many sources and practice this method as much as I can. Laptop is 2 years old and battery still is good.

To add to this, you shouldn't keep your Laptop plugged in all the time, make your battery work as it was designed to.

Take out the battery if you aren't going to transport it.
