Remember everything you do is based on choices you make.
Its not your parents, past relationships, your job, the economy,
the weather, an argument or your age that is to blame.

You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice
you make, period, so don't blame others when things don't work out.

so think of how stupid the average person is,
and remember half of them are stupider than that.

No one, is stupid, they just have more bad luck then the rest of the bunch when they think. Luck being the key here, not your choice .. ,-)
 
I don't think I can choose whether they drop bombs near me or not.
The only thing we can do is control our legs and hands influencing our thoughts.

There is no such thing as "luck" ok?

But the truth is, there’s no such thing as luck. It’s just another excuse. Nothing happens without a cause. The weather today “didn’t just happen,” it’s a result of specific causes.

Likewise, the difference between being successful or unsuccessful will not come from luck, but the choices you make throughout your life.
 
There is an issue. The wrong choice was made because the bad outcome was not easy enough for you to predict.
If you only could predict consequences of certain choices, there would be no mistakes.
But it's not possible.

When I go out there and meet with people who are poor and who are thinking money is evil I hear messages such as:
  • your life is just grinding, you are like a mmorpg player who is non-stop thinking about grind, what the hell is wrong with you
  • shut your mouth and stop talking about your fancy ideas, they'll never make it,
  • you must be seriously autistic dude, maybe get some therapy,
  • nobody is interested in you and your freaking wealth, find a hobby.

Read my post I have just posted before you.
You should realize it's difficult to socialize with people who try to put you down.
It's easy to find oneself being used to someone's advantage if you don't stay careful.

In fact, solitude is the only way to understand yourself and how the world works.
Nobody just chit chatting gets to any significant point in their lives.

Socializing with people with common goal makes sense.
Maybe socializing with people you work with and your family is enough?
Maybe you don't need 100 connections?
In my experience, going above 5 people is getting overwhelming and time consuming.
2 close relationships are the maximum for optimum development.

Or maybe even 10, but you know, it's easy to let someone cross the barrier, especially when you are young and living among people who are rather harsh and painful to deal with.

I agree, but sometimes circumstances can fuck us bad.

Covid for plane companies for example...

You can't blame what is in your control, right now.

But you can blame this fucking covid for example...

You are responsible but some things are unexpected, I don't have to tell you this after what happened to you a few months ago. Some Africans are born in extreme poverty and they can blame lack of education for the less success they can and probably will have financially.

I think it's a mix of both. Luck and choice... 50% is out of you control and 50% is totally in your control and you have to improve these 50% the best you can.
 
I will tell you in my town the number of drug dealers is similar to the number of SEO guys in this forum.
This world is crazy. Really. Random occurrences everyday. You can land in a prison cell and realize you've been fucked over when it's too late.
At one point all of my friends became drug dealers. I know it sounds hardcore, but it was really random. And you can imagine how the living with that was.
It was difficult to look in the mirror.

Everyone is pretending to be a seo here :D The difference is that nobody is pretending to be a drug dealer in your town, it makes your maths wrong !

Jesus.. I have a wife, one daughter, 3 grand children and I own two bars here in The Philippines.. That is plenty socializing for me mate on a daily bases.. How about you?! Think before you post, you do not know me mate!!!
