They say that times are hard . I really do not believe it . I am actually seeing a positive flow of income more so then I ever have in all my life .But just to be on the safe side I already did a plan of action .

    I was gonna purchase a........

    NIGHTCLUB .

This is gonna be fun. I was talking to a business broker about it after I did some research .

Alcohol sells ALWAYS climb through the roof during times of economical crisis . Well we are suppose to be in an economical crisis so I figured what they hay . A friend of mine owns a REAL shady bar and makes a small fortune without him having to lift a finger . I figured that a club should get better results then a shady bar .

So I talked it over with my bank and had enough upfront that they would loan me the rest. So then I got excited then went to talk to my friend that owned the bar he told me I could not do it there was no way. WHY? No working capital . Yeah I can get a club *The building* But nothing else. Sometimes I can be so scatter brained .

Here is my point . About 6 months ago I barely had enough money for toilet paper . Now thanks to BHW I almost bought a club .

Yeah economical crisis my arse. Do not give up.

Yeah man I hear you, even during the great depression some people were doing great. Also Casino's do well too, if people have money they'll risk it for more.

My hat is off to you.

were you going to buy the venue or rent it? maybe if you rent you can pull it off? you'll need to pay the rent, staff for a night, DJs, light show, alcohol (if any), and promotion (street teams, party forums, and social networking sites).

If your promotions are tight you could pull off 1 party a month and work your way up to a full on club. You would be building yourself up from rave parties to club. The raves will be cheaper. Just make sure you get awesome DJs and masses will come. PM me and ill drop names of talent :)

Yes you are correct however a lot of people get in the mindset that there is no money . This puts you in a mind frame where you CAN NOT make any money .

It all about mindset set your mind to the limit and just go for the gold .

I believe that it is all in the eye of the beholder. If a person really thinks and acts as if times are hard, than guess what, times are hard.

Life is all about how you perceive it. To some people times will always be hard no matter what. But you you put another person in the same shoes as the other and they will feel as if they are having blessed times.

Kinda reminds me off the old cliche that goes something like, "I once met a man with no shoes, then I met a man with no feet".

And I think the problem with the current economy is the media and politicians always talking about "problem with the current economy". Its like spreading mass fear.

Too many people look for the worse everything. Its the chosen few who turns every setback into a setup to get back.

Just my opinion on the topic.

That is not true. Casinos are NOT doing well. I've lived here in Vegas for almost 5 years, and I just got laid off my casino job. Many of the casinos are almost ghost towns except on the weekends.

They're doing great here, can't speak for every casino in the country.

But even statistically the shack casino's with the alcohol and gambling did great, granted it was probably due to prohibition. So yes it is true.

nop, things are getting bad, the whole pie is getting smaller. But as a newbie, you're looking to earn a tiny piece of the pie, so the larger picture doesn't really matter.

For example, if you're running 10k on PPC daily across a few hundred niches, you will definitely see sales and clicks falling. Less people are buying stuff, it is not as good as the 'old days', people are getting even more cautious to purchase stuff, but even then, there is enough people out there to make money from.

not to flame you or anything.but this is the exact mindset we are talking about to avoid.
i am not saying you are lying or anything, but instead of thinking like this, think like
these are tough times so,what will people need:
1)jobs as lot of people are fired.
2)earning more money probably from internet.
    3)debt negotiation etc.

but if you are still out there selling jewelry and stuff, then surely your earnings will fall.

If you are serious about entering the nightclub scene, you are better off to buy a piece of a club similar to what you want to own and learn from those owners. Once you have learned the ins and outs, take the plunge with your own.

Keeping a positive mindset is good in any industry but there is no denying that the 600,000 people that lost their jobs in the US in January and the 130,000 in Canada are facing tough times ahead.

mate, I'm not thinking like anything. Since the topic is about the recession, I wrote about the recession. Times of growth does bring in a lot of opportunities, so does periods of recession like this.

I was analyzing the situation as a whole, and calling a spade a spade. What I said is true no doubt.

You may want to have a positive outlook of things, its your choice. You can make money in any periods as long as you know the right niche to exploit.

But the newspapers aren't lying, and what you said did not make any sense in relation to my post.
