    Hi all

Over the last month I got links from 3 different high PR domains: PR 7,8 and 8

These were major news websites, so not stricly in the same industry

Any ideas, how long before I should see some positive impact on rankings?

To offset things, the site is a Penguin 2.0 victim, and we have disavowed a ton of domains, although there has been a dozen or so natural links gained over the last few weeks.

    thanks

You got links from actual pr pages or the page is pr n/a? Its difficult to say for sure how long it would take to notice serp improvements after acquiring top quality links, sometimes within days and sometimes within weeks. And yet, you may sometimes never see an improvement depending upon your keyword competition.

Doesn't mean you will get much of a value from this. Few blogposts on high pr sites is good but not enough to rank high specially on high competition KWs.
