Should be in the Downloads section. Also, maybe you should explain what the e-book is, to give members a heads up. Some may have it. Some may not want it. Some may have been searching for it they're entire life.

I think it's quite important to note, for those that are unaware, that while there is chance of profit in forex, there is also chance of loss.

Forex is an educated gamble, but a gamble non-the-less.

    End disclaimer :)

I will agree with you only under the premise that everying in life and reality itself is a gamble.

Other than that, keep things separate, a gamble is a gamble, IM is a serious market!

I know how to play poker, I know all the rules and I play by them, I know when to hit and when to fold. Just because I know what I am doing doesn't mean I'm not gambling.

In knowing what I am doing I am reducing the risk and maximising the returns, but the risk is still there just like in forex

Do you realized what you just said?

You're saying that only because you don't know how something works, then it is a gamble.

Well, I don't know the first thing about construction, is construction a gamble?

I believe davejug1 made the right point using the wrong example, because there are many that consider poker not to be a gambling game but a knowledge and expertise game.

If you used roulette for example, then it would be the perfect example, you can know every conceible thing about roulette, when you play it, it's always a gamble, no matter if you win a $1mill or if you lose everything, because you're always playing with CHANCE, IM is a market, it is about knowing what to do, and how good you are at doing it, being successfull depends only on how good you are at doing something, being a gambler is just playing around with chance and getting lucky or unlucky while doing it!!

    just my 2 cents..

Anything that takes up time and or money in life is a gamble. What your priorities are dictate what type of a gamble you are willing to play with. IM is a gamble of time and money depends on the person you ask. For me it is a time gamble. Did I waste my time or do something profitable? Will my spending 6 hours researching, creating, consulting be worth it? I won't touch Forex it is only because I am uneducated in that sector.

    Anyways...........

Back to the point..... the ebook.

You shared something that is nothing more than a sales page turned into a .pdf and has an aff link at the bottom.

There is no education in the ebook, and I know just as much now about the forex market, as I did 2 minutes BEFORE reading your ebook.

Not a good share at all, and there is nothing to learn from it.

You have 17 posts and you crank out this.

    What a waste.

But I do thank for helping to prove my point why this forum needs to be closed to new people for awhile. Until the reputation of this place dies down a great deal.

He is correct to a large degree because when you have the required knowledge you are entering into a calculated risk (which is present in stocks, futures, options and what have you)

Many people who see forex as simply gambling are mostly those who put the cart before the horse.

Going by what is posted in that ebook is simply why people loose money and turn around to cry wolf.

Invest in yourself (get the required education) before you start trading forex and you will see what i mean. Peace

I'm not as radical as you on that subject, I think that this forum should continue to be open to new people, I would never heard about this place if it was closed.

But I also believe that there should be some changes here, maybe something in the lines of, as we're building reputation here, some hidden sections where only members of the same level or higher would be allowed.

I am well versed in forex, no need to speak as if I know nothing about it. Simply put if you are relying on outside influences to gain a return with you having no input whatsoever other than buying and selling, you are gambling, pure and simple. You may have all the knowledge in the world but you are reliant on the market going one way or the other, you can educate yourself to learn to spot the signs but things happen outside of your control. You have no control so it is gambling. Now let's stop jacking this guys thread
