    Hey BHW addicts,

I have a few questions about tiered linkbuilding. I had never success with it because I was never consistent and maybe did things wrong. For my new website, I want to start building tiered links but have a few questions.

    1. Tier1: Do you post 1 article and put your link in into each web20 site? Or do you make 5-10 Posts each web20 (how to find that much content?)

    2. Tier1: Are there web20 sites wich never delete articles? I´ve had a free wordpress tier1 site and was inactive for 1-2 years and then WP deleted that.

    3. Tier1: Is it an problem to use 1 spinnable article on 10 web20 sites if it is >80% unique? (normally I use unique hand written content but it is very time consuming to make 10 unique articles with ~500-700 words

3.1 Tier1: Are 5-10 tier1 sites enough? I will still build qualtiy links from forum comments, blog comments, social bookmarks and so on.

    4. Tier2: I think tier2 should be still good quality? Do you link your tier 2 directly to the web20 page like bhw.wordpress.com? or to the article like bhw.wordpress.com/bhwarticle?

    5. Tier2: My tier1 and tier2 sites will be in german, is it an problem to make the tier3 sites/links in english? (will use GSA and/or Scrapebox to blast this

    6. Does tiered linkbuilding really work and worth? It is very time consuming. I have only a small niche site with 3000 exact matches a month but I want to rank anyway for this because there is incredibly much competition for this key and before the penguin, I was on #2 for that key. So it´s more an ego/prestige thing for me :) I gave up on my penguin demolished site after 8 months and started a new one.

Thank you very much that you take time to read my post and write an answer :)

    1. Making high quality and informative posts, usually with an image and video will be best. You can make several smaller posts to begin with to build the site and to get it past manual reviews before adding your links if you wish.

    2. Most web2.0 sites have been hit with alot of spam due to tools. Think more of quality to pass the reviews, although there is never a 100% guarantee.

    3. No problems providing the article is well spun and legible.

3.1 This depends entirely on your keywords and the level of competition, and also how much you are going to power up these sites with other links.

    4. This is down to personal preference. Links should be 'quality' to the degree that the stick for a long period of time, so you don't waste your time building links now which get deleted in 6 months, making your 1st tier lose link power and thus not passing it onto your main site.

    5. Don't see why not.

    6. Yes it do. Think about getting link from authorative sites in your niche. These sites have many backlinks (usually), relevant content etc etc. Imagine you build yourself 10 web2.0 sites, build content regularly on these, backlink them alot and build them into mini authorative sites, all related to your niche, and then backlink these to your site.... Good link juice and hopefully good rankings :)

Alot of effort, but you got complete control of your link building and build yourself good quality links.

    Thank you for your post!

Do you mean I should build/buy? backlinks to the web20 sites? Also you mean I should be authorative but that sounds very time consuming? I always thought, most guys here put 1 article with backlink on web20 site and then blast backlinks to it?

What I mean is, if I need to write 1 article a week for each (10) web20 site, this will be very time consuming. In that time, I could go and buy links :) It´s cheaper.

What you say sounds be a method for satelit sites, when you own domains and different ip adresses!?

Considering you are targetting the german market with a german site I would advice you to do the following.

    - Create 1 german web 2.0 blog every day/week/ 2 weeks whatever fits for you best. Be sure to use a .de blog ( as this will greatly boost you in google.de ) and write your unique content in german. I useally create 3-5 pages per blog and add a lot of video's, pictures, polls and other widgets to make it look as natural as possible.

    - Than for the second tier use GSA to build related backlinks to your first tier. I use the following modules for this: Article, Social network, web 2.0 & bookmarks. You can use a english spun article here.

    - For tier 3 spam the second tier backlinks with scrapebox to make sure they get indexed. You can also use a indexing service as tier 3 as the only purpose of this tier is to index the second tier.

I use this method with great succes. I have only been able to build 10 first tier blogs 2 months ago and didn't create anymore lately because I didn't have anytime. But on all my keywords I have atleast one of the web 2.0 blogs ranking on the first page, on 1 keyword I have spot #3, #4 & #5 with the first tier blogs. The money site is ranking on ~page 2 for most keyword because it only has 10 backlinks from the first tier.

Thanks, this sounds nice. But I have questions:

Is your goal to rank the web20´s or to rank an moneydomain? I dont really get it?
Do you monetize your web20 sites? If your money site is on page 2, this method seems not really to work?

Where on the web20 site do you add your link to the moneypage?

I want my moneypage to rank, but I want it to rank for the long term. If I want I could treat the moneypage as a first tier blog and have it ranking on page 1 by now. But this would be incredibly dangerous and there would be a great chance that it would be punished by google, as its not smart to build many backlinks to a new site. Where on the other hand I can build thousands of backlinks to the blogs because they already have authority and even if they get punished I don't really care as I only spend 1 hour max on them.

So I'd rather build backlinks to my moneypage slowly to be 100% sure it won't get punished by any future updates and spend most backlinks on the first tier, which will result in ranking my money page in the future.
