I have access to creating links on Dmoz at will essentially. Anyone here have experience using Dmoz links as a T1 or T2 and building more tiers on them to push rank?

How well do Dmoz links react to being blasted?

Does it push juice in Google well and does Dmoz get sensitive to pages with links built to them?

    Any thoughts?

How are you doing that? I've been trying to get legit businesses a listing on there and never manage it! Presume you're admin on there?

Dmoz is a great link to have, but Google probably only expect to see one link per business so I'd say get a good listing on tier 1 then use more links to make you first tier stronger.

I've spend years getting many friends 'in' there. Its been a real win-win. They do great work for Dmoz, and I have a access to their ears.

So DMoz'ing some of my quality T1 sounds like a definite yes then.

What about building links to the Dmoz pages? Anybody know what the effect would be there? I'm only worried if it look unnatural to Google, or if it might cause Dmoz to get pissed off.

I really doubt anyone in Dmoz is actually monitoring traffic and backlinks. So, if you have access then you should try. You would be then one of the few who would be playing the game in a different field altogether.

Sorry for being a little off topic here:

Do you have any advice regarding getting accepted into DMoz?
I have a new website and want it listed but I am scared. I tried it in the past with some LQ websites and (obviously) never made it. What should I take care of before applying?

Just tell us how much are you charging for getting in there.

P.S. I thought DMOZ was dead though.
