    Hi guys,

I launched an affiliate discount code site, around 7-8 weeks ago. I had it for around 3 weeks then changed the domain (affiliate wouldn't allow my original domain)

I set up a 2nd domain about 5 weeks ago, copied my old site to the new one and put a 301 redirect in place.

I quickly hit 8-10 for 2 of my main keywords, and the other 4/5 i was on page 2 for.

Since then ive used web 2.0's for my tiered link building, all manual spun content. Ive built around 55 links over the past few weeks. Im using KM/GSA for tier 2/3.

My 1st page rankings have all moved down to position 2.

Ive used web 2.0's for the same niche that ive had since july, along with newly created web 2.0's.

A different money site i have (using the exact same tiered link building method, for a higher competition term) is sitting #1 on google.

Im continuing to add web 2.0 links, just a few each day, along with some manually submitted social book marks and guest blogs (all found from myblogguest).

Im just not having the success i had this time round with this approach.

What should i be doing? Im looking into article submission directories, but not sure what else to do at this stage.

Any advice would be really helpful.

    Thanks guys.

It sounds like you haven't been diversifying your link type.. Have you built any other type of tier 1 links other than web2.0s....

Try to make more powerful (better) 1st tier links - remember "deep linking" to your website is important (have more than one viable landing page maybe - then good navigation to move people to the main product.

Target high authority 1st tier sites.

    Code:
    [URL]http://www.demondemon.com/ultimate-demon-discount-and-lifetime-link-packet-offer/effective-link-building-after-penguin-2-1/[/URL]
    Have a look at this.

your tier 1 links should be authority and not web 20s etc. etc. They should be under your control and should read well (like outsourced content and not spun).

Thanks Scritty going to take a look at this now.

As a quick "target list" of the types of links that should make up my tier 1 - does this look right?
Web 2.0's ( & Private blog network, but not sure if i want to invest the money in that just yet)
    Guest Blogging
Document Upload/sharing sites (pdf upload sites, videos uploads, slide share sites)
    Directory Submissions
    Social bookmarking
    Article Directories

    Anything else?

Ive also used KM3 to build some content using the tier1 settings, and built directly to my money site. More so just to diversify my link profile, using more generic, branded and naked url links. Ive been building at a rate of 5-15 a day for the past few days. (Forgot to mention this in my initial post)

Last night I set an auto approve blog comment blast on scrapebox for my tier 2/3 links. Only set this off when i went to sleep so it ran through the night. Hopefully that helps somewhat.

Im kind of stuck in a "rut". Because just web 2.0's worked for my initial site (which has grown to make me around $450 a month between adsense & affiliate sales) im frustrated that its not magically working this time.

I need to adapt my method, and improve my link building, so thanks in advance for the help guys.

It could also help to build out a diverse link profile with your usual methods (Web 2.0s, guest posts, doc sites, social bookmarks, articles, etc.), and then sprinkle in a few high PR links to give you a boost.

    What i'll do today:

Create 10 new web 2.0 accounts. Create them to a higher quality than my previous ones. (a good about section, an intro post, a relevant image / banner)

Ill post an intro post today along with 1 quality article, and a filler article tomorrow. In 2 days time ill add my money link & 2 contextual links in each of the quality articles ive posted, for a total of 3 articles per post.

Tonight however I will create the profiles and post the intro & quality article.
Tomorrow i'll post a filler article to each web 2.0
I'll also convert an article into a pdf, (spun article, so i can make numerous pdf's) and upload to doc sharing / pdf upload sites.

Also - I have scrapebox so this should help me out for the following question.I find myblogguest very hit and miss for finding guest blogging opportunities. Often i feel like i send my article, get no reply, yet the guy i send to will use it anyway and not provide me a link. What methods do you guys prefer or favour for finding guest blogging opportunities, or for finding sites/bloggers to outreach and let them know you have an article / site they may want to link to.Thanks

use various sources for linkbuilding, dont just get stuck with web 2.0s, use hi pr manual comments, posts on article directories, fb shares, microblogging links, and something i've been doing has worked great - contact FB page admins and link exchange with them (Their Site "A" links to your site "B" and your site "C" links to Their site "A"), yahoo answers, qa links, etc - These all can be valuable when used right :)

Thanks, ive been compiling a list of article directories, i submitted one to ezine last night, and will continue to do more.

I think the outreach for finding guest posting opportunities is what i need to look into, not really sure the best way to do it (see my previous post)
