Tiered linking is based on the theory of not just backlinking your money site. But backlinking those backlinks.

This gives the backlinks more juice than a plain backlink on it's own.

Basically it spreads out your linkbuilding and the theory is one backlink with 4 backlinks is stronger than 5 backlinks on their own to your main site.

It can also serve as a buffer between your money site and your spammy type backlinks (forums profiles/posts and blog comments).

Because if you just send a bunh of profile links or article links to a site, those links have almost no value. So when you send links to those links you're making it look like those links have some value. So in the end your 1st tier links to your money site will have more value.

Two above beat me to it :p But yeah, definitely do a tiered linking system. I recently started doing it, and it works wonders. If you can either by Scrapebox/Xrumer/AMR and learn how to blast your upper tiers, or you can just outsource. Personally, I prefer to outsource it, but everyone has their own preference.

create 2-3 web 2.0 free blogs pointing to tier 1 web2.0's
blast them all with SB and AMR.

There can as many as 7 tiers.

I use 2 tiers max, Works great.

Just make sure you keep the buffer site or 1st tier as clean and good as possible.

when you say keep your first tier clean, do you mean : do not blast them with spammy links from SB and AMR?

No, he means make sure your tier 1 links are quality links. You can then blast those with any type of link. Crappy ones, quality ones, etc.

I was thinking the same thing as OP too. Don't a lot of the tough niches have a lot of lots of backlinks when we check their backlink count. Will a few good links really beat out sites that have tonnes of backlinks to their site. If you build a few tier 1 links to your site that have many tiers behind it, the only backlinks showing to your site are those few tier 1 web2.0 backlinks, I mean. How can this beat out sites with thousands of backlinks? Is it even feasible to build 1000s of these tier1 links cheaply?

Very sorry for my long questions, but they have been bothering me for a while as I've considering a backlink plan for my sites recently and simply cannot decide between a tier link pyramid structure that would mean much fewer direct backlinks to my site compared to many backlinks straight to my site. Can any of you seo experts share your view and enlighten me please?

Yes these are considered as quality backlinks.

(don't use the usual scrapebox and xrumer blasts directly to your money site)

    Cheers

What the meaning of Buffer site??
Why all people use web 2.0 on 1 tier links ?? It is better than Article Directories for 1 tier??
    Because im do like this
money site < article directories < wiki & web 2.0 < forum profile & blog commenting
