I'm new to SEO and Link Building, but I really need it for using GSA SER.
The people talk of creating high pr tier 1 backlinks but there is one thing I didn't get.
So a high PR website like for example wordpress:
Do I create a new blog about my niche and make a articles as tier 1 ?
or should I find niche relevant blogs which are hosted on wordpress?
i know its a pretty silly question actually, but I hope you guys can give me the answer.

And when I created a web 2.0. like wordpress I just put the link of my website at the end of the articles?

    Thanks

I Prefer Press Release Links, Guest Post Links for Tier 1.

Yeah target high PR Web 2.0 like wordpress, blogger, tumblr, etc. There is a list of a bunch somewhere on BHW. You can make 1 article blogs, but many people say to write 3-5 articles for your tier 1's and treat them as a real site since it could bring your money site organic traffic. Plus it looks more legit with more posts and will last longer on the web 2.0s.

I always create a new blog on Wordpress, blogspot, squidoo and other high PR Web 2.0 or 3 party blogging sites..then Post up related contents to get relevant contextual links.

Yes, it's upto you, where you put link at the end of article OR somewhere in b/w article.. I'm always getting contextual link-backs from Web 2.0 site.

+ I'm using some natural pharsing text and link-back to money site.

If You properly manage Your Web 2.0 Sites this would be much more effective than just posting 1 article and forget about it.

I suggest you to post bi-monthly on Web 2.0 sites.

I am also using web 2.0 websites like Tumblr, Blogspot, Wordpress, etc which are good. Their authority can help us get ranked in google.

thank you for the great answers. I just wrote a HQ article with over 500 words.
Does it matter in what time I build all the tier 1 links and build tier 2 backlinks and so on?
for example, is it negative when I do it all in one day?
