Ticket site SEO strategy?

Can someone advise me on the best SEO practices for a site (this case a ticket selling site) that has it's content continuously changing? So far I have setup most of the things on each page so they get indexed fast and also get bookmarked pretty quickly too. I'm just wondering I should do with pages that have been taken down due to the event being over.
