    Hello Fellow Blackhatters,

So this weekend marks my first full month of Instagram botting and I thought it would be helpful to create a post with considerations before anyone else jumps into the system.

    1. Growth is HARD - currently I have 20 accounts running and am posting 2 very high quality, unique images per account each day. On my best days when the bot is working well (which is almost never) I am averaging around 200 new followers. Constantly I am reading threads on Blackhat where people are stating they're gaining 500+ followers a day on brand new accounts. At this point, I don't know if they are lying or I am just doing something incredibly wrong. The accounts are in many different niches and engagement is great (~10% at 4k followers). I just can't see how these others are gaining such absurd numbers of followers while all my of accounts are struggling. I have played with the users I am scraping followers from, key words I am liking, everything.

    2. The bots fail - for this section I thought I would break it up into two different reviews - one for MassPlanner and one for Followliker.
2a - Followliker - this was the first bot that I bought when I started my journey. First, followliker is a pain in the ass to set up. There is no option to copy settings without sources to other accounts. When you're running 20+ accounts, this is an absolute huge time spend. Second, the auto-photo post option in followliker is pretty bad. I would recommend you use Massplanner for this function. When I first started using FL, it was working great. It seemed to be hitting my designated follow / like number every day and I was making great growth. Once I reached 5k followings per account, I started running unfollow. This is where the bot started consistently failing. In statistics, the bot said it was hitting all follow / like / unfollow settings, but growth was HORRIBLE. I have no idea what changed, but the bot just stopped working. I emailed customer support twice and received no response either time.
2b - Massplanner - I bought massplanner once I realized the photo posting option was not ideal on follow liker. Massplanner has a fantastic layout. The bot is extremely easy to set up and understand. The problem is, it almost never consistently works. Before people jump on my case on this issue like they have in other threads, this issue has been reported by multiple users. The bot has not once hit the follow limit that I set and consistenly stops in the early morning. My settings are correct and global nightmode is off. I emailed support and they got back to me but it was after a good amount of bugging them. I've heard great things about the massplanner support so maybe my issue was just unique to me. IF massplanner bot worked consistently, it would easy be a market leader. They have implemented great features and the ease of use is fantastic. It just consistently doesn't work a for a lot of users.

    3. Settings - because I know everyone is interested in settings, here the are. I follow 500-550 per day with between 60-75 second intervals between follow. I scrape the users of accounts with at least 1m+ followers and have a minimum of 6 of these accounts per each one of my accounts to make sure I don't run out of new people to follow. I like between 350-500 photos each day and use 10 different popular hashtags. I unfollow between 350-350 accounts per day after a 3 day limit. I warm up accounts for the first week then switch them over to these settings that I keep going permanently. I haven't had a single account banned yet.

    4. Set-Up - Currently I'm running the bots on a greencloud VPS and am using ProxyMillion. Both of these services have been fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone who is trying to get into IG botting.

    5. Conclusion - at this point I think I am going to throw in the towel on my IG botting journey. Both bots consistently fail and no matter what changes I make I can't get them to work even after speaking with support. If they update either bot, I would love to continue with the journey, but at this point I don't have the ability.

People are making money with IG so don't throw in the towel even if you decide to make money another way until you accomplish the goal you set out to do!

Don't quit, you're about to receive a lot of help from people with success. Clearly people make money on IG, take the advice and tweak your bots settings. Patience, the same methods won't work for everyone. Don't give up!

Don't give up, man. You've already found what doesn't work, moving you that much close to something that does. Try something a little different. There are people making good money with IG, you just gotta' be persistent :)

Lesson: you actually have to WORK. If you want bots/automation to do all the work you will be greatly disappointed.

Netmoney, I definitely agree that this is very important. Just because you're botting, don't expect to be able to sit back and do nothing. I have put a LOT of work into trying to get everything running smoothly. Every night if something doesn't work I reconfigure my settings. I don't think this not panning out is due to a lack of effort. At this point, I truly believe the people posting journey threads where they are gaining 1k+ followers daily on 10k IG accounts have to be lying or buying a lot of shoutouts and not mentioning it.

I agree, there is some much more required than just botting.

People are definitely making money, but how invested are they? Be it time or money-wise? Are there better ventures out there for them?

I agree with OP, considering he broke that shit down to the tee!

throw away bots, do manual work , all people making bank on twitter and ig dont use shitty fl bot. your reach is dependent on quality , not amount of followers you have.
