Throw me a rope I?m drowning. I think I?m in the sandbox and Akismet is pushing me under!!!!

We have a small wedding site that was previously ranked in the 40-50 range. I bought scrapebox at the $97 (ouch! why not 57?) and have been lightly scraping. I got them to the 20-30 range and did a 3K blast on fast poster last night for the first time. Today, all my keywords took about a 20-25 spot hit. WTF is going on?

    :y:

I chose to do a very basic nonspinned blast because I kept getting the white screen of death whenever I would post. I think Akismet has me on the naughty list. Additionally, I bought a captcha service but wasn?t getting anywhere.

I would literally harvest 2000 links if I didn?t get that stupid yahoo 503 error message and slow post for a few hours. Then I would check and maybe I would have 15-20 (0) pr submissions. SO damn frustrating?

I hear people doing a 20K blast and can?t even fathom or understand how someone gets that many? I can maybe find 1 out of 50 that is autoapprove.

And to top it all off, it crashes about every 5 minutes in slow post mode?.

    WHAT DO I DO????????????

So in submission. I?m screwed!!! LOL

    Take a deep breath

Everything is actually OK and this is a good sign. :)

This isn't even the sandbox, this is Google "feeling out" those new links and indexing them at various times. The sandbox actually isn't a bad thing either.

I've seen many cases where a site will experience major fluctuations in the SERPs and then bounce back higher than ever before and stick for a long time.

Keep building backlinks, keeping creating new content and deep breaths. It can be frightening but the chances of you messing up your SERPs with only that many links is extremely rare.

You wouldn't happen to be pinging your backlinks would you? Google just slapped you for blasting 3k links all of a sudden. If for whatever reason they all got indexed at once, you boned yourself with that blast.

I would have to say that maybe out of the 3K, I maybe got a success rate of 120. B ut the links found was like 20.. I guess I don't know how to actually use scrapebox very well.

    I ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION...
The day before, I spoke to a guy that has my competitors SEO locked down in my city. He has all pr3-4 blogs and is rotating links in the good old 1px x 1px hidden overflow. I was inquiring about hiring him for his services. Then this happenned. Coincidence? I don't think he could of done this unless he owned the top 40 slots.

Next time when you do scrapebox blasts buy some private proxies. Never submit comments using only your ip, or akismet will indeed be your "best friend".

Hellbust, I am a newbie but I have about 20 different proxies I load into SB. Should I be doing something else? I thought this would hide mytrue IP...

    LOL! IT GOT YA...

But I am so serious... I have spent weeks getting to the 20-30 range and then EVERY kw string got bumped 10-20 spots... Just trying to get a feel for what is gonna happen next.

Since the advice is keep backlinking... I have just blasted 4K (thank you 1-30) and got 380 Auto approves..

I've had every site I own get blacklisted by akismet. Don't worry about it. Not everyone uses it. I have yet to get a site sandboxed from SB. Bouncing around is actually a good thing. PM me if you want some tips on how I've ranked sites for really competitive keywords. OP only.

Keep backlinking thats what you should do. I dropped off google for a very competitive keyword after doing 5k approved Scrapebox blast. Didn't give up hope though and slowed down the backlinking to about 1k+. After about 4 days My site up from nowhere and beat some highly competitive websites. Let google see your backlinks and wait few days and you will be making more $$$ than you used to :)

Try make sure you have decent proxies too mate. When i started posting with mine i just through in any list of proxies and away i went, with horrible results. I now make sure to test my proxies and throw out anything above 2000ms which has improved my results ten fold.

You either need to buy some private proxies, or thoroughly test the scrapebox proxy tool proxies.

Anything less than 2000ms, or anything that doesnt pass 3 consecutive tests is not even worth trying for posting.

one thing you dont hear a lot about with G is a Trending effect.
people will often blast and rocket up only to sink back to where they were
because links have stopped. G looks for trends, when the trend is up, so is your time at the top!

I was wondering why it seems like eveytime i move say 15 spots, I will lose 4. It's a move forward and track back a bit effect.

First, never ever use your IP address for anything but personal stuff. If you are SEOing use private proxies.

Second, use phony names, eMail address, link, and comments, to find auto accept sites then come back and hit those with your real link and comments with anchor text.

Third, if you site is less than 1 year old don't hit it with 3,000 backlinks per day - Google will notice you.

Forth, if you do use ScrapeBox to actually post to high PR sites use a 3rd website to point all the links to and to individual pages. Then use 1 link, per page or website, to your real website and all that link juice flows to it with no worries from Akismet.

Fifth, protect your real websites as if your living depended on them....

What I have found is a lot depends on how active the keywords are. The more active it is the more backlinks you can throw at it. The less active keywords require slower growth. Just an observation I've had. I have yet to see an issue with ip addresses.
