I wonder what kind of precautions you guys take when doing three way link building.

Obviously the IP adres but do you guys also register the domain name with different whois info and registrar?

And what if the registrar is the same but the nameserver is different and other whois info is used? Would that be enough?

Looking forward to hear your thoughts on this one.

I use hidden register for my sites, and on different IP, same registar for the most part.
If your sites are quality, it shouldnt' be an issue, imo.

I have a competitor, who owns the SEs, he has about 90 sub sites linking to money site, a) they're all under his personal name b) same template different colors c) different IPs d) garbage duplicate content, maybe one unique page and 2-3 garbage pages, and I'm not even sure if it's a unique page or just taken from his main site. e) It's just a 'links' page on every site with the 90 links on it.

Seems like once you're an authority site, Google doesn't really give a shit what you do.

    PS. Don't bump a 30minute old thread.

I would highly recommend never to link your own money sites together ever not matter what kind of link strat you use, brand-able namservers are always good but the thing you have to remember is that most times they will resolve to the same ip address as you original nameservers. And then there is always the whois information, which you can not worry about if you privatize that data.

3-way linking is dead. Google follows through and can see it.
