    Wow,

Thanks for the number of responses but by programs I meant educational programs that explain how to make money to help get people started in the right direction, not applications for those that already knew what to do to being making money.

    Thanks all...

That's really a tough question for a few reasons. First off, you ask this question in a forum that hat multi-colored hats ;). For black hat stuff, you're not looking for a prepackaged "program" - you're really goona just be a sponge and suck up a whole lot of different things and then, after getting a bit of a feel of things in general, hone in on a specific approach to get deeper into.

White hat is where all of your standard programs are (i.e. - My Online Income System, One Week Marketing, BUM Marketing, Honest Riches, etc.). They do lots of hand-holding and take baby steps to help you through learning the absolute basics of Internet Marketing.

Once you get a feel for the basics, you can then apply some black hat tactics to speed up your progress (this then inches towards gray hat... or full on black hat, depending on the degree to which you speed things up and how the tactics fit into the standard rules of play).

I saw all of that to get to this one point - it's not in the systems and the programs. No matter which route you take at first, it all amounts to this - you're going to need to jump into SOMETHING and just start learning! There's a tremendous learning curve, so read read read and ask lots of questions.

Internet Marketing is, for the most part, still in a bit of a wild wild west infancy in ways, so if you want more one-to-one guidance through this new frontier, then your best bet may just be to first decide your end goal in HOW you'll do internet marketing. Do you want to market your skills (i.e. - are you a programmer, graphic designer, good writer, etc.), a product you develop, or other people's products (through affiliate relationships)?

That's a fundamental question, because not knowing that answer means that you just go out looking for "ways to make money online" and that's a prime recipe becoming a victim of information overload which then raises the likelihood that you end up doing NOTHING for a while. Once you decide your approach, your one-on-one will come from programs (or ebooks) that speak specifically to building up skillsets in that particular area. But there's really no one size fits all sorta program.

If you're unsure, affiliate marketing is the easiest overall. And as far as training goes, I hear lots of great stuff about Wealthy Affiliate (though I've never joined, so can't confirm from PERSONAL experience).

BedokBlau thanks for the very detailed reply...

I personally am trying to put together my skills for CPA and PPC marketing right now, which also means learning how to build landing pages. I've been learning everything I can and have found a few helpful programs available here .

I didn't think of the fact that many in IM would be specializing, but know that I'm getting more exposure here, I think it would be hard to be an accomplished jack of all trades.

Thanks again, and if you know of any good programs in that area let me know...

"Didn't think of the fact that many in IM would be specializing"? I would hardly call it "specializing" but the fact of the matter is that it's hard to get a proper handle on any one approach (or system of techniques) if you're jumping from strategy to strategy. That's how folks find themselves in a situation where their wheels are spinning spinning spinning and meanwhile they not going anywhere. (And now I'm talking from personal experience and that of friends in IM too)

It's good that you've honed things down to CPA and PPC. Sadly, I can't suggest any programs that teach that BUT you're in a good place to find answers IF you ask the right questions :). The only thing I can suggest would be what I'd do in your situation. In your situation, I'd just search the forum for threads related to CPA and PPC - spend a bit of time on that...... read read reading (to develop a deeper understanding than what you currently have) then, at the point when you can ask specific questions, do so. I have to emphasize that you're more likely to get answers (and legitimate help) if you ask questions of substance. But, it's hard to get to that point if you just jump into a thread with something general like "How are you guys making money with CPA?"
