I did, I clicked create new thread and it comes up as empty box.
Have over 3 hours on this thread so if I cannot find it, I would be very upset.

Oh , Alternatively try hitting the back button several times if you have the tab opened.
How could I of prevented this though? I was working on it, and randomly a box popped up and asked if I was a robot, I confirmed I was human and then page refreshed, went to white screen, and thread was gone. I got a message saying it was saved though, but I cannot find it anywhere.
I already closed tab... This might of worked. Dang

Next time, when you are about to type a long-ass thread, do it first in a word document.

Will do. But is there a way to get the thread back? It gave me a html message stating that the thread was saved. (This was after I completed the Captcha). It sent me to a white screen with html text stating thread was saved, just cannot find out how to pick up where I left off. Thanks for the link above.

If you start a new thread in the same section, using the same browser, the content MAY appear - but this depends on many aspects including if you have ad blockers installed then it won't reappear.

I got the HTML code as well, but when I went back to the reply it had saved my content. I had to do this a few times. I suggest doing what @Diamond Damien suggests above. This happened to me once last year and hitting "Create Thread" in the same section brought it back. Haven't started a new thread in a while without first vetting in Evernote, though.
I can remember at least three occasions where I was responding to a thread or creating a new one and all my content disappeared or the thread was deleted. Never fun.

Hi it have actually popuped for me 3-4 times when i add piece of code in my post then it shows captcha and after completing captcha it shows me html generated page. But when i reload the page it shows my post.
Is it? I think the staff would fix it if it was a bug issue... But, it seems like it is a common issue, but I think staff is aware.
Yea, I think it is some sort of AFK thing. Not sure, but I do not like the way it removes work.
