So I'm from the US but just bought an exact keyword domain that has a keyword searched for only in the UK. What are your thoughts? Is it tough to go up against .co.uk domains?

The monthly exact search volume is 20,000+ and the competition is low, so I thought I'd give er a shot.

what did you buy? .com? if so no problem. I have a .co.uk domain and it ranks about 2 places higher on google.co.uk then it does on google.com.

You can always set your prefered Geographic Target to the UK in Webmaster tools if it's only the UK you're tageting.
