Thoughts on the Dogecoin run?

I've got some, I'm hoping it goes up enough to at least get my money back.

I want to get into crytpo also,but the marketplace cryptsy is reviewing the verification so slow..that until i get my hands on some crypto they will go way up....

But it is insane isn't it?They owners of the site are making money on us with commissions,etc...it would be normal to verify the accounts as soon as they can,so they are going to get some money also.Right?

It's similar to the whole "bitcoin" craze, but I don't think the values are actually valid. It's like digital currency with no absolute value really.

Yeah it'd be in their best interest to keep you as a customer obviously but they seem to be under staffed.

Remember the all time biggest Bitcoin exchange ever was run by a Magic The Gathering game enthusiast who couldn't program PHP just weeks before he made MtGox. There are posts of his asking for basic PHP tutorials. A few weeks later he's running the world's largest Bitcoin exchange.

Same with US dollar, has had no value since it became no longer gold backed

+18% right now. On a $3.8 million dollar volume.
 
Dogecoin will not get much bigger IMO. My bets on Reddcoin for something that could potentially get huge as there is the viral element. If Reddit (for example) implements Reddcoin you'd see a massive increase in value overnight. Wait for the social tipping platform which is due to be released later this year.
 
Doge might not become the "top" currency, but it is certainly having quite a run right now.

Looking at the orderbook on Bittrex, there is some good buy support but also some sell pressure stopping the market from moving upwards.

It may be interesting to watch.
