genius marketer or scammer?
IMO, i respect kanye, one of the marketing geniuses of our time
If people are willing to pay for that I guess that would make him a genius. It would only be a scam if he didn't give them the shirt.
For $120 for a plain white t-shirt, I sure hope he's soaking that shit in cocaine first. So at least the buyer gets something out of it.
Why because he tricks people into thinking he is creative? He doesn't even write his own music and has a team of ghostwriters. Kanye had a whole album talking about not being materialistic and sells over priced goods. His fans eat it up. I guess that's what you mean by "marketing genius".
I Find it hilarious.
Listen to his song "new slaves", he raps about not being materialistic and falling for this "new slavery" (media bs). Then a month later he releases his lines over overpriced clothes. and his fans worship him like a god. its crazy
Who the fck is Kanye West?
Somebody should tape that motherfuckers mouth shut again.
Say what? You're right, he puts Strawberry Frog and other top marketing firms to shame. :|
Now seriously, I've bought $120 under shirts before. If they're of quality construction and well-fitted, I'm in.
That being said, I've seen him wearing his clothing line and quite frankly screw that ugly shit. His hoodies are CRAZY long. Everything is ill-fitted. And his jeans are way too distressed.
Then again, I'm a more GQ/Esquire-type guy.
No, like its literally a white t-shirt. That's it. I'd link it but I've already gotten banned for no reason, I don't wanna again google it!
That's what I mean by "under shirt." Just a plain white tee. Either crew neck or v-neck to go under a dress shirt or worn by itself. It's understandable to pay anywhere from $30 - $200 for one.
It's easy to be a marketing genius among brainless sheep. His target audience is the same as Lil Wayne and all the other used up "artists". This is purely my opinion, what do I know about music. Turning on the radio is a thing of the past for me.
