    Paypal.

Some whacko billed me for something for absolutely no reason on paypal..

Now, I was wondering, if someone had like a million paypal email addys, and you billed a million people $1, I wonder how many of them would send you the $1...

I also wonder if you can mass bill one million people...

Would be funny to do though..

I had someone try and bill me a few dollars once, I had sold them something on ebay years back, I wonder if they were trying to do something similar...

nice try, but i think if you got mass rejects on fake bills, paypal will shut down your account.

Such billing would be considered "spam" by PayPal and your account would be locked down in a heartbeat and the bank account and credit card to which your PayPal account is linked both might be zapped for a "holdback" against future chargebacks.

PayPal might also report such activities to your local law enforcement as fraud.

    Think PayPal can't do that?

    Check out its TOS!

That is probably one of the reasons that they have registered in more than 30 US states, plus countless countries. Since they are a business in that state/country they have a presence there and the crime would have been committed there.

lol guys I wasn't actually advocating this as a sound business plan..

it was just a joke, I was billed for absolutely no reason and I wonder if this happens all of the time..

It would work if you could spam bills across the millions of accounts on paypal, but obviously you cant.

pa*yapal spam, they would probably ban your account at the very least, and could possibly try to hit you up with any spam compliance act of your area.
