Just got this skype message:
Yea these suckers will never stop doing that.
I always wonder why they work. Probably CRO on another level - finding 1 in 100 people who fall for the emails - they will be likely to fall for the tricks too..
Sad, A lot of people fall prey to such mails, (non tech savvy ones).
Numbers game mate. 1 in 100,000 more like. If they send a million mails and rip off ten people for $10,000 or something, then it's worth it to them. I have no idea how they do it though, would like to use their kit to send legit offers
Surely the only people that fall for these scams are 50+ that aren't very tech savy, though surely common sense dictates.
On SKYPE? That's as easy as A.B.C to handle. Remove from list, Block and Report the handle.
From the look of it I guess it could instead be a buddy of yours trying to pull a fast one on you. Normally scammers of this nature send emails from free email addresses. For instance yahoo, gmail, hotmail, outlook etc . This email of yours is coming from a registered domain accountant.com and is expecting a reply there too.
The Whois of the domain points to a UK server and your avatar also tells me that you also might be from the UK too . The estibot appraised value of the domain is $ 1,290,000 , what would an African scammer be doing playing around a domain like that considering the fact that if they where that tech savvy they would of been investing their time in other areas than the email above .
If I where you I will go after my buddies first before going after the "Usual Suspects" Just a wild guess of mine though.
BTW I hate African scammers because they make business very very hard for me, infact they bring me bad business and ill luck, kindly send him a virus as an Xmas present in your reply. Cheers
Someone actually responded to one of these scams. It's hilarious. http://imgur.com/a/8fxnr
My misses against my advice updated her bank details on a Netflix phishing email, they then set about trying to empty her bank account. Bank froze the transactions and closed the loophole.
Now she's on the gullible twat mailing list, getting everything under the sun.
Some folk should need a web driving licence before they are allowed on the web.
This will always exist we humans are like that
Is amazing what a 60+ old person believe, and that is the target
Nobody with common sense should fall for it - especially because of the way it is written.
There's a website that deals with these scammers. I believe it's called 419eater.com. That place is a goldmine for laughs.
All you need is common sense, I think anybody of any age unless they are a kid would know if they had a millionaire kin living in Ghana
Their best response is silence.
no idea why you guys rezzed this thread i guess it was some noob looking to boost their post count on ranodm posts
You should tell him that if he emails a pic of his dick you'll accept his request. And then ask for a pic of his wife's tits.
What kinda like what your doing now?
Sounds like a weak attempt at scam or 419 as they call it. I wouldn't fall for that even if I were dreaming.
Separate names with a comma.
