Hatchimals Are Must-Have Toys This Holiday Season:
How Can You Get Your Hands On One?

    <http://www.inquisitr.com/3715406/ha...ay-season-how-can-you-get-your-hands-on-one/>

When it comes to the gifts that your kids are going to want this holiday
season, Hatchimals is going to be at the top of the list. Hatchimals are
really cute toys that children are begging for, but the problem is
Hatchimals are really hard to get your hands on.

Us Magazine shared a bit about this new toy Hatchimals
    <http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity...king-out-over-sold-out-christmas-toy-w450221>
and how you can get one for your kids this Christmas.

It isn't easy at all, but they are out there, and a few options to buy
    Hatchimals do exist.

Hatchimals come in five different types: Pengualas, Draggles, Owlicorns,
Burtles, and Bearakeets. They are in an egg, and over time, the
Hatchimals hatch and show you what you get. The more a kid plays with
the Hatchimal, it starts to open up for them.

It has three stages, which are baby, toddler, and child. It also sings
"Hatchy Birthday" between each stage. It is being compared to the ’
    '90s Tamagotchi toys.

Good luck finding Hatchimals! One of this season’s hottest toys

If you are lucky enough to find a Hatchimal at the store, they are only
$60. Here's the problem: They aren't easy to find, and people are now
selling the Hatchimals on places like eBay for hundreds and thousands
    of dollars.

Hatchimals are working hard to help everyone get one. They shared on
their website all of the details about how you can get a Hatchimal
<http://www.hatchimals.com/>, but it may be after Christmas.

“The consumer response to Hatchimals has been extraordinary,
exceeding all expectations. Some of our first shipments have already
sold out. While additional product will hit retail shelves in
November, we anticipate this inventory will also sell out quickly.

We have increased production and a whole new batch of Hatchimals
will be ready to hatch in early 2017. This is a special season and
we don’t want anyone to be disappointed, nor do we support inflated
    prices from nonauthorized resellers.

We are working on creative solutions to help kids and their parents
withstand the wait. In the interim, some retailers are developing
presale and/or rain-check programs for redemption in January. We will
continue to update with program details as they become available.”

It does sound like you might be able to give your child a raincheck that
says they will get a Hatchimal in the future, but you know most kids
will want the real Hatchimal in their hands instead.

If a store is getting Hatchimals and people find out, they are rushing
in and grabbing them off the shelves. It will be hard to find one in the
    store.

If money isn't a problem for you, then you can get a Hatchimal online,
    but it won't be cheap.

Hatchimals Is Vying To Be The Hottest Toy This Holiday Season

    A quick search on eBay
    <http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...0.H0.XHatchimal.TRS0&_nkw=Hatchimal&_sacat=0>

will show you what the Hatchimals are going for there, and it isn’t
cheap. Right now, they are selling for over $100 each, but these
auctions haven’t ended yet. The ones that have sold are selling for
around $125 on up. This does make it affordable, but you are paying
about double for them. Some parents will do this for their children just
so they can have a Hatchimal this holiday season and not have to wait
    for it.

Right now, sellers are also posting Hatchimals on Amazon, and they are
going a bit higher there. The site /i4u/ shared that Walmart and Toys R
Us are both getting in the Hatchimals
<http://www.i4u.com/2016/11/117401/hatchimals-make-news> all the time, but they are gone as soon as they get them.

Walmart even has them on their Black Friday ad for $48.88, but there is
no word on how many they will have to sell at each store.

Are you looking for Hatchimals for your kids for Christmas this year?
Were you one of the lucky ones to already get one? Sound off in the

the parents are idiots for clammering to it

    its a piece of junk

the demand is first created by parents buying, not children wanting.

That reminds me of tamagotchis, and lo and behold the article writer felt the same and mentioned them. So now the question is does amazon sell them?

I just checked and they do, they seem to sell for about 200$ on Amazon. Who knows maybe someone who is good with promoting amazon products could make some money off this. I would try to be a badass and say I would try but I have too much other shit to do.

What, something that would make somewhat sense in the US ? Crazy ...
Well, at least it is an alternative to pets to be gifted that then end up in the kill shelters because the stupid ass family did not teach their child to be responsible.(but then again this toy could lead to exactly the opposite as well after some time)...

Come on this is the US you know the rule of the game : Buy or should I say finance (and then not pay)- Throw away - Buy more (see point 1) - Throw away again

are you insane?!? kids today wouldn't know what to do with physical toys that require dexterity. these days everything is virtual. lego, mechano, chemistry sets, etc. would go unopened.

    kids actually "touch" something??? GROSS!!!
    what are we, cavemen!

When I was a kid one of the hot toys was Tamagachi (or however it's spelled.) There were three of us, and we all wanted one so bad. When we finally got them we played with them so much the batteries died.

Mom never put new ones in bc she hated them lol.

It really is just this generation being retarded and unappreciative. Plus they have the attention spans of a period at the end of a sentence. They can't spell, they can't sign their own names, they can't count. We're raising an unimaginative generation completely dependant on technology.

So, SO glad I don't have kids.

bad grammar isn't just for usenet trolls and forum posters anymore. every day i see more and more poorly constructed sentences on major news web sites than i can keep track of.

and i often find myself having to re-read headlines and paragraphs because the "journalist" writes like a student who majored in 12th century folk-dancing.

Normally, I'd agree with this, except Lego has gone downhill in the last couple of decades. They've focused entirely on selling video games and those sets that come with instructions instead of the Lego buckets parents used to toss at their kids and say, "Shut up and build something". Speaking of the Lego buckets, those went from being dirt cheap to being $90 per bucket.

For a while, Minecraft was a significantly better alternative than Lego for kids, but they've begun shifting their focus toward, you guessed it, pre-built worlds. Even before that, kids with the PC version were spending a copious amount of time playing on servers filled with advertisements to get them to spend their parents money on in-game "gems", or something like that.
Yeah, Tamagotchi. There's a song about it.

I've noticed that as well. It started off on their (the news websites) social media accounts before spreading to their websites. I'm beginning to think they hired those 19 year old "social media marketers" to be their writers.
