It would be really super if anyone out there had a list of edu and gov sites where you could get backlinks. Like blogs or so on. I read the method about the seo tool for firefox and searching, and I am creating a list. This is taking time, which I don't mind, but it would be nice if anyone else had a list if they would share it.

Yes I found it and I am doing it and making a list. I was just hoping someone had already made a edu and gov backlink list to were we could get even more of those types of backlinks.

It would be great if you can share it but I doubt anyone else
Willing to share.

Once the list is out people would spam on those blogs/sites
Forcing the owners to close the comments or make them nofollow.

Like the above poster said - If someone did have a list, They would most likely not share it since it would get spammed up and shut down.

I see and can't really blame them. I have been using the search on google for edu, gov, and mil links and going that route. It is working, I have some edu links already showing up and a mil. Very excited, but it does take time.
