    How do you change what the big ol' Google says about your website under the search results?

    Use meta tags: description and title. If you have wordpress then install a plugin called "all in one seo". It lets you change the meta tags without having to open any files and doing it manually.

    You asking about description? You can change it on your site... Check your source code for current description and you can update there...

    Ah thanks both,

    I am currently using All In One SEO, but for some reason even though I have all that filled out the way I want it to, Google is showing a description that is a short passage from one of my posts.

    I think I'll have to fiddle with meta description

    Edit: Ah I think I might of also found another problem, the theme I'm using has some built in SEO options and I had a 'pull info from post as meta' option selected. Think that might have been contradicting what all in one seo was trying to do.
